However, given the advice of some reviews, if you are looking for more facilities and comfort, a hotel might be a better choice. It was my first time to Jiayuguan. My main itinerary was to visit Fantawild. Accommodation was the most important thing. I looked at many homestays online before coming and was attracted by the environment of this small courtyard. The small courtyard is very close to Fantawild, and the shuttle bus to the park is right at the door of the homestay. After moving into the small courtyard, the boss and his family were very kind and took the initiative to introduce the surrounding environment. It was like living in a relative's yard. I originally booked one day, and then extended my stay for two days. It was relatively comfortable, quiet and convenient overall. I will choose to stay here next time.

Upon arriving at the apartment via direct elevator, we were pleasantly surprised to find a delicious watermelon waiting for us on the dining table – a truly thoughtful and refreshing welcome! 🏠 **Facilities:** The apartment itself is incredibly spacious! Boasting 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 living rooms, it's well-furnished and ideal for larger families or groups of friends traveling together. A good selection of complimentary disposable toiletries was also provided, which was much appreciated.

Although the hotel entrance is a bit small, there's a dedicated person to pick you up and arrange parking. Given the high cost of land in Lanzhou, I understand the parking problem. As for the room: it's very cozy and has a water dispenser, so you don't have to worry about whether you need to use the kettle. The landlady will tell you where to eat and where to shop as soon as you enter, which is very thoughtful. The price is also reasonable, making it great value for money.

The guesthouse is located within the scenic area, so you don't need to leave the area at all. Therefore, you must plan your travel route carefully. If you want to experience the local nightlife or check out the night market in the evening, it's best not to choose this place. If you have to catch up on your itinerary early the next morning, it's recommended to book a car in advance. If you want to get up early the next day and explore the scenic area directly, staying here is recommended.
