Hoeve Ceres in Nieuwolda is rurally situated in het beautiful Oldambt. This region is characterized by capital farms built in the 19th century by rich grain farmers and small workman houses. Many of the rich and eventful history of the region is still present.Hoeve Ceres is villa built in 1898, beautifully located on a quiet road on a large plot of almost 5000 square meters with views over the countryside. The former coach house has been converted into an apartment, suitable for maximum 8 (adults) people. A cot and/or extra mattress can be added for a maximum of 2 children.On the ground floor you will find a private entrance, living room and kitchen. On the upper floor is a landing with gang, two bathrooms, separate toilet and four bedrooms. The bedrooms are not that large and have limited storage space.The spacious living room of 35 m² has underfloor heating, lounge area with TV, DVD player and a large dining table with eight chairs. Well equipped spacious 25 m² kitchen with four burner gas stove, microwave/oven, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and kitchen table with four chairs. The two bathrooms are equipped with shower and toilet. The four bedrooms each about two eenpersoonsboxspringbedden. There may, for an additional fee, a cot or extra mattress with bedding. The Coach House has wireless internet access.At us you find peace and space. The pendulum garden in English country style is available for our guests. You can enjoy the silence or cycle, hike or sail nearby. A staircase takes you to the mezzanine: the former hayloft. Sleep wonderfully on a queen-size bed. (standing height 1.65!) This is an open space with a view downwards. The second spacious bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm) with television and is on the ground floor.The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of equipment to make yourself comfortable. There is another holiday home on the site - the Bird's Nest Oldekerk - this is for 2 people; the parking lot and the walkway along the ditch are shared, everything else is private. Aurora Hoeve is located in an area without street lights, making it a dark sky area. With clear weather you have a beautiful view of the twinkling stars and beautiful skies when it is dark. We therefore ask you to turn off all the outside lights when you go to bed. We even observed the Aurora Borealis this year!The Barn is located in the Westerkwartier of the province of Groningen.
