The receiption was very rude and unfriendly, I booked a room without window but there was a window to hotel corridor lit up 24 hours and the blind was not enpugh to block the light at night. There was a strange noise like water flow the whole time. At midnight around 2 AM a group of guest laughing and talking so loud which woke me up. However the only good thing about this room, it was very clean

This was the first hotel of our 8-day Iceland trip. It was a nice hotel, clean, and conveniently located for shopping and dining. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pastries and bread selection. The only thing I did not like was that the bathroom sink was a little too small. Other than that, everything was good. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just across the road from the ocean, and the sea-facing lounge areas on each floor are absolutely stunning. The elevator is now fixed, so there's no need to worry about heavy luggage. There are two floors dedicated to dorm rooms and two floors with standard rooms. The dorm floors also have plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is clean and staff clean it daily. I stayed for a week and encountered three different front desk staff members, all of whom were incredibly friendly and even helped me book tours over the phone. This hotel offers amazing value for money – highly recommend it for a stay in Reykjavik!

Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo.

The location is great and convenient especially for us who booked the day tours and it’s 4-5min walk to bus stop 4. Especially the receptionist Rica is really kind and helpful and she generously offered us an upgraded. And we do appreciate the CNY greetings both from the reception but also for the card with orange. Also as my hubby’s birthday is during the stay, I asked months before if birthday decorations is available and eventually got a birthday cake and a card but with wrong name lol The facility (needs to turn off the lights one by one instead of all-in-one) and hygine situation is not that good in terms of the 5-star hotel. (Hair in the sheet cover and the toilet)(no clean up for the desserts) The tides restaurant and cafe is good and worth trying with ISK 7000 credit for the restaurant. No chance to try the spa.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! First off, the staff were all very polite and friendly. Also, before checking into this hotel, we had just finished an 8-day, 7-night island tour. Since there were luggage size restrictions on the tour, it was a huge relief that this hotel allowed us to store some of our luggage while we were away. Upon entering the room, the facilities were even better than expected. There was plenty of space to put our belongings and hang clothes. The lotion provided was also very useful, especially given how dry it can be in the room. I will definitely book this hotel again if I come back to Iceland!

Pros: clean. Plenty of shelving to put our stuff which was amazing. Great that the shower had a handheld. Breakfast was good. Multiple yogurt drinks, a yogurt bar, eads, scrambled and easy eggs, breakfast meat, porridge, melon, banana, gluten free section, juices and teas. Water bottle filling station was very welcome. Plenty of easy parking out front. Beautiful atrium when you walk in. Cons: breakfast was expensive, even for Iceland. I wasn't going to stuff myself with enough food for it to be worth it. Room was too hot, there was just a little window to cool it down and no way to create air flow. There was construction noise outside but closing the window was unbearable. Bathroom was slightly slanted so you could feel it when sitting on the toilet, and when you opened the door even a little it would swing and bang the shower door/wall (movable curved glass that serves as both the shower door and wall). Check-in was quite slow considering they knew we had just flown overnight and had paid for the night before because we knew we would be very tired and want to nap right away. Overall a very nice hotel, seemed more for the business crowd but suited our needs as a vacationing family who had just flown in.

The accommodation is conveniently located near Bus Stop 6, which is also where our day tour picked us up. It's also close to Rainbow Street and the city center. The room was comfortable but a bit small; for two people, there wasn't quite enough space to fully open our luggage.

My stay at the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica was, overall, very satisfying. The hotel itself is spacious and comfortable, with a clean and modern design that perfectly captures the fresh Scandinavian aesthetic, while also offering the refinement and convenience expected of a high-quality accommodation. The front desk staff were excellent; check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth, making them feel both professional and attentive. My room was spotless and quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness details made me feel very secure and at ease. The hotel breakfast is also commendable, with a wide variety of fresh options that perfectly met my dining needs during the trip. While not in the absolute city center, the location is still convenient for getting around, and the quiet surroundings are ideal for a good rest. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, providing a consistent and reliable stay. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, you'll experience excellent service and quality here. All in all, this hotel offers a great combination of comfort, service, and brand assurance. My entire stay was pleasant and effortless, making it a highly recommended and quality accommodation option when visiting Reykjavik.

Center Hotels Plaza is in a prime location right in the city center, making it super convenient to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The room and hotel facilities were clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Initially, the front desk service felt a bit reserved or ”poker-faced,” but our tour guide explained that this is simply the typical, understated cultural disposition in Iceland— reserved on the surface, but still very welcoming and helpful underneath. That definitely held true across our entire trip. Overall, it was a smooth, clean, and well-located base for exploring Reykjavik. Would recommend!
