Zatrzymałem się w hotelu Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo, a lokalizacja jest zdecydowanie jego atutem. Zarówno dworzec kolejowy w Kioto, jak i centrum handlowe AEON Mall znajdują się w bardzo krótkiej odległości, co ułatwia poruszanie się i robienie zakupów. Z mojego pokoju mogłem nawet zobaczyć centrum handlowe AEON Mall, co było miłym bonusem. Jednak pokój i wyposażenie wydawały się dość stare, mimo że były dobrze utrzymane i bardzo czyste. Oświetlenie w pokoju było słabe, co nadawało mu nieco przestarzały charakter. Zameldowanie odbywało się za pomocą maszyny samoobsługowej, a dodatkowo pobierano podatek za zakwaterowanie w wysokości 400 JPY od osoby. Obsługa była w porządku, ale brakowało jej ciepła i przyjazności, których oczekiwałbym od czterogwiazdkowego hotelu. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, czułem, że cena nie do końca odpowiadała jakości i wyszedłem trochę rozczarowany, pomimo świetnej lokalizacji. Jeśli szukasz bardziej nowoczesnej opcji, polecam rozważyć inny hotel bardzo blisko dworca kolejowego w Kioto, który oferuje niższą cenę, ale nowsze udogodnienia.

I want to share my gratittude to mitsui hotel staff & the services they provided. They provide good hospotality when we reach and they found out we come with a family of three, they even upgrade our room to 3 single beds room which make our stay even more comfortable during our trip to Kyoto! The room is clean and the Japanese Hot Shower bath they provided is really a good cultural experience for us as a foreign tourist. Their location is also spot on when you want to travel around in kyoto with walking distance bus stop which will brings you all around the hot spots of kyoto. Will definitely visit them again if we travel to kyoto.

Ogólnie hotel bardzo mi się podobał! Lokalizacja jest super dogodna — blisko wszędzie, gdzie chcieliśmy się udać. Pokój był czysty, a wystrój minimalistyczny, ale stylowy, co bardzo mi się podobało. Mają też relaksującą łazienkę, co było miłym dodatkiem. Jedną z moich ulubionych rzeczy było to, że telewizor w pokoju można było podłączyć bezpośrednio do telefonu — to była ogromna wygoda! Był jednak jeden problem. Moja przyjaciółka zgubiła naszyjnik i miałam wrażenie, że personel nie komunikował się ze sobą dobrze. Wyglądało na to, że nie przekazano żadnego zgłoszenia ani wiadomości, ponieważ za każdym razem, gdy pytałyśmy, musiałyśmy wszystko wyjaśniać od początku. To było trochę frustrujące. Mam nadzieję, że naszyjnik się znajdzie — jeśli tak się stanie, prosimy o jak najszybszy kontakt! To wszystko ode mnie. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, pobyt był udany!

Położony między dworcem kolejowym w Kioto a świątynią Kiyomizu, około 20 minut spacerem. Obiekt jest bardzo dobrze wyposażony i oferuje znakomite usługi. Do Alei Jingji można dojść spacerem w zaledwie dziesięć minut. Kioto to świetne miejsce na spacer ulicami i zaułkami. Znajduje się tam wiele małych świątyń buddyjskich położonych pośród dzielnic mieszkalnych, co pozwala poczuć historię i poznać kulturę miasta.

A little gem of a hotel right in the middle of Kyoto! Location could not be better. The hotel itself is ”Japan sized” (rooms are small) but the space is so cleverly used I spent more time marvelling at the efficiency in design than worrying about the lack of space. Service similarly was very efficient, what was provided was what was needed and done to a high standard. Rooms were not cleaned every day but nice fresh towels were provided every morning. There was no laundry service but there were excellent coin operated laundry machines. Would certainly stay here the next time I return to Kyoto!

This is my favourite hotel on our travels around Japan. The room size was a little small but it was fine for a few nights as a base to explore Kyoto. It's walking distance from some great sites like Nijo Castle, the Samurai Ninja museum and the bustling market. The transport links are great and easy to get to most places of interest. Staff were very helpful and even rushed to fetch towels when we came in from the rain. There is no restaurant on site so, breakfast is only a bento box but it was so tasty! And there's a fantastic little cafe/restaurant just down the street (to the right as you leave the hotel) which was lovely for dinner. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have a larger selection of manga in English or other languages.

Położony blisko stacji Shichijo i Kioto. Hotel oferuje darmowy ramen w godzinach 21:00-23:00, a także darmowe napoje i lody rano i wieczorem. W onsenach nie ma tłoku w godzinach 18:00-20:00. Uwaga: w hotelu obowiązuje zakaz noszenia butów, ale zapewniamy skarpetki. Śniadanie w hotelu można wykupić za 3000 jenów, a wybór jest dość duży. Ogólnie pobyt był przyjemny.

This was our third stay at Agora Hotel Shijo Kyoto, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore Kyoto’s highlights. Our room was spacious enough to comfortably fit two large suitcases, with plenty of space left to move around freely. The amenities provided were more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the refreshing welcome drinks upon arrival, which was a nice touch after a long day of travel. Overall, a consistently great experience and we look forward to staying here again.

The hotel is conveniently located in Nijo, close to a Life supermarket, Muji, and Nijo Castle. There are also many coffee shops and restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient. It's only two stops from Kyoto Station, which is very quick, and the hotel is right outside Nijo Station. The room size is also quite generous. My only minor complaint is that there were some dirty marks on the wall, probably from guests' luggage. I considered asking to switch rooms but decided against it to avoid the hassle. Also, I noticed that booking hotels in Kyoto closer to the check-in date, especially after the free cancellation period, can sometimes be cheaper than booking in advance.

Furthermore, the availability of late-night dining options nearby ensures that guests can indulge their culinary curiosities even in the late hours, adding a layer of convenience and appeal. In essence, this hotel captures the essence of urban exploration, with its blend of comfort, accessibility, and proximity to the vibrant nightlife that thrives in the heart of the city.
