Also good location and my room was overlooking view of the lake.  The check in took a long time and too many people at the lobby due to the check in machine was out of order.  Also too many people using the elevator and it should be improved somehow.  I don’t think I will come back for this hotel especially during peak season. There are many shops including twosome place and bhc checking and CU convinient store inside were convenient though.

This was a very pleasant place to stay before and after a hike in Seoraksan National Park. Lovely view from the balcony. Very clean and comfortable, and helpful staff! Very convenient location. The local bus to the national park is right across the street from the hotel, and the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the express bus terminal. I was pleasantly surprised by a washing machine in the room, which was great to clean my muddy clothes after my hike (you'll need your own laundry detergent). The room had a kitchenette with sink, hot plate, and full-size refrigerator and freezer. The only problem is there was no pot or pan to use on the hot plate, so I could not actually use it to warm my food (unless I would travel with my own pot)! It would be nice if the room provided a hair dryer and if the hotel had some breakfast option. The cafe downstairs offers only drinks, not food, and doesn't open until 11 a.m. The entryway light is motion activated, and there are many electronic buttons and panels around the room that emit light, so if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, you will have to cover your eyes with a sleep mask. Also note that it you close the sliding door between the bed and living area while the air conditioning is on, it will prevent the cold air from reaching the part of the room where the thermostat is located, so the air conditioner will remain on indefinitely, and the sleeping area will get very cold. The various panels for lights and temperature were a bit difficult to understand. English labels would be helpful. But the receptionist was helpful and came up to my room to show me how to use the air conditioning. The USB port on the nightstand worked some of the time and sometimes it didn't. I couldn't figure out if there was a switch or setting somewhere in the room to make it work, or if it was just malfunctioning.

Would like to commend front desk staff Jason for personally attending to our check-in. He had painstakingly showed us to our Block B apartment room helping to also push 1 of our bags. As the room did not provide us with a sunrise view, had requested for a room change for the 2nd night and Jason himself again personally came to help us with the room transfer movement. His good english was a also pleasant surprise.as also his charming attitude and smiling look. The resort should cherish such young & kind-hearted staff. Kudos to him! Also, there was a manager (unfortunately could not remember his name who had a christian name to his name tag and slightly burly sized) @ the indoor pool/spa reception who should be praised for also taking the trouble to allow us entry (though we did not book any slot) on our check out day for us to take some photo pics for remembrance. He actually helped us take our couple shot, took the time to showcase us the nice indoor pool and its magnificent balcony view before accompanying us out and showing us the way to the beach. Thank you kind sir! The fantastic service we received from above 2 gentlemen is really testament to Shillamonogram's astute and comprehensive staff training especially with focus on customer satisfaction. Well done Shillamonogram. Will certainly recommend the resort for a wonderful staycation.

Amazing views and spacious room as listed. A little bit disappointing as they don’t provide much amenities and room service, other than it was up to my expectations. Me and my partner was in the corner paranoma suite room and the ocean views are unblocked. You can see the sunrise right infront of the bed. Location was very convenient, many seafood restaurants nearby and transportation is easy. Free parking if you are staying.

신상 호텔답게 객실 시설은 만족스러웠습니다. 방에 테이블이 있어 사온 음식을 먹기 좋았고, 욕조와 샤워, 화장실이 분리되어있는 점이 좋았습니다. 침구류도 편안하고 괜찮았어요. 다만 화장실에 호스가 이상이 있었는지 물이 조금씩 새어나와서 중간에 수리를 해주셔야 했습니다. 초반에는 화장실에서 묘한 냄새가 나서 안 좋았는데 금방 적응되기는 했습니다. 위치가 속초와도 가까워서 시장에 다녀오기 좋습니다. - 3시에 체크인을 하러 갔는데 그 시간에 이용객이 몰리는 것에 대한 대비가 하나도 되어있지 않아서 체크인 웨이팅을 1시간 반 넘게 해야했습니다. 얼리 체크인 옵션이 있는 것도 아니고 태블릿에서 웨이팅 등록을 하고 로비에서 하염없이 기다려야했습니다. 딱히 그 동안 짐을 보관할 곳도 마땅하지 않았구요. 시간을 쪼개어 기분좋게 여행 온 건데 이렇게 1시간 반 이상을 버리게 되며 일정이 다 꼬여 불쾌했습니다. - 루프탑 인피니티풀이 1+1 프로모션 중이어서 이용했습니다. 온수풀이어서 추운 날씨에도 불구하고 이용할 수 있었습니다. 다만 타올을 따로 제공하는지, 제공하지 않는다면 객실에서 가져와야하는지 등에 대한 사전 안내가 없어 당황스러웠습니다. 타올을 원래 제공하는데 다 떨어져서 알아서 가져와야한다는 것을 직접 문의를 한 뒤에야 알게되어서 객실까지 다시 다녀와야했습니다. - 뷰는 오션뷰이긴한데 앞에 바로 바다가 있는 느낌은 아니고 끄트머리에서 보는 느낌이라 그럭저럭입니다. 나쁘지는 않아요. - 전반적으로 시설은 만족스럽고 좋았습니다만, 아직 투숙객을 맞을 시스템적인 준비가 되지 않은 호텔이었습니다. 직원분들은 친절하셨지만 각 파트마다 유기적인 소통이 잘 안 되는 느낌이었고, 그로 인한 불편은 모두 투숙객이 감당해야했습니다. 잘 고민해보고 투숙 결정하셔야 할 것 같습니다.

개인적으로 아무리 신라라지만 호텔 서비스 이용 요금이 너무 비싸요 수영장은 좋으나 야외 공사는 왜 자꾸하는것이며 특히 풀바 치킨은 쓰레기입니다 (시킬만한 메뉴도 없고... 어떻게 신라에서 이렇게 싸구려를 쓰냐고요ㅜㅜ) 또한 수영장 이용시 레지던스동과 호텔의 동선 연결이 안된점도 아쉽고요 아무리 새로 지은 호텔이래지만 진짜 새집 냄새로 눈이 너무 아팠습니다 애기도 이틀내내 눈아파해서 병원까지 다녀왔어요ㅜ 그 외 좋았던점은 호텔 직원들이 친절하십니다. 바람이 많이 부는날 레지던스 야외 수영장은 정말 좋았습니다 마지막으로 바라는점이 있다며 키즈프로그램이 더 있었으면 좋겠습니다 (제주 신라처럼요)

Waking up to the sight of the sea was both relaxing and refreshing. The cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel was very well-maintained . However, there are some areas that could use improvement. The amenities were quite limited. Toiletries weren’t provided, which was fine, but having them would have made the stay more convenient. Also, access to the pool, sauna, and gym required a separate payment, which was a bit disappointing given that many hotels usually include those facilities. The breakfast was enjoyable, though it came at an additional cost. It was good, but nothing particularly special. Overall, the best part of this hotel is the beautiful view and the friendly, helpful service from the staff. If you're looking for a clean place with a great view and don’t mind paying extra for amenities, this could be a decent choice.

Nice clean and spacioua. Lots of place to eat near btly. Close from centeal market and beaches. Has heated pool nintendo switch and kids cafe. Nice for families.

Central location - within walking distance of the Express Bus Station from Seoul. Has free parking with the car lift -convenient. Within walking distance to the Sokcho beach. Breakfast buffet was included in the package - the same buffet for the 4 days there - would be better if there is variation. Loved the freshly squeezed fruti juice! Still great to have ba full breakfast before my walks at Seoraksan National Park. My room has a great view of the Seoraksan mountains and the lake. Unfortunately, cannot view the sunrise from the room. Had to pay extra for the rooftop pool and we didn't find a time to visit.

It was a last minute reservation we have made to enjoy our national holiday and it surely was a great decision! The location of this resort is in prime spot right next to the Dae-po dock where for the seafood lovers you are in for a delight of fresh and cost efficient sashimi and steamed crabs. Not only that, the resort itself was very resourceful for the families who bring their youngs - massive indoor playground - arcade for the little gamers - quiet family friendly walk way into the shorelines - indoor water park (Stopping here because my fingers hurt trying to write everything down!) Lastly, the rooms were cleaned at exceptional quality with the ocean view. Definitely coming back here next year!
