This hotel is exactly like the other reviews: old, poor soundproof, hard beds, but really well located. However, the room I booked was way too noisy: I think it was next to the street because I could hear people shouting late at night and in the morning. I could hear them way too well, even though there was no window in the room. It was that bad that I asked to change rooms. Fortunately we got upgraded to another room for free. This one was on the second floor, I could finally sleep and get some rest in peace, but if people passed by talking, I could still hear them. At least not a lot of people passed by. The rest is OK, as you can see in the pictures. Beds could be softer for a hotel, but for the price I paid, I won’t complain. The hotel is at first hard to find because its entrance is in a small lane, but conveniently located near Dongguan and Pishi streets, as well as Ge and Ho gardens (approx. 20 mins walking each).

Wystrój i układ pokoju przypominają ogród. Okno wychodzi na boczne wejście do Muzeum Ludowego w Suzhou. Siedząc rano lub wieczorem na macie tatami przy oknie, podziwiając widok i popijając herbatę, można poczuć przyjemną ciszę panującą na zewnątrz! Lokalizacja jest bardzo blisko stacji metra, z których można dojechać do Ogrodu Pokornego Zarządcy, Muzeum Suzhou i Ogrodu Lwiego Gaju (po drugiej stronie ulicy), a do ulicy Pingjiang Road można dojść spacerem w około 10 minut. W pobliżu znajduje się wiele restauracji. Na posiłki warto wybrać się na zakupy grupowe. Jeśli chcesz zjeść posiłek nad wodą, możesz skorzystać z ofert grupowych i wybrać się do okolicy ulicy Pingjiang Road. Unikaj restauracji na początku ulicy Yuanlin Road; obsługa jest słaba, a lokale nie oferują ofert grupowych. Ponieważ wiele dań smakuje podobnie w różnych restauracjach, nie ma potrzeby wybierać najdroższej. Aby lepiej poznać smak potraw, wybierz lokalną, renomowaną restaurację. (Nie polecam restauracji nad brzegiem morza po lewej stronie na ostatnim zdjęciu.)

Hotel Gyunfeng okazał się najlepszym miejscem noclegowym podczas naszej podróży. Hotel położony jest w pięknym, spokojnym i cichym starożytnym miasteczku. Pokoje są czyste i w pełni wyposażone. Dużym plusem jest to, że właściciele hotelu są niezwykle mili i gościnni, dzięki czemu mieliśmy ciepłe wakacje, jak w domu. Właściciel z entuzjazmem pomógł nam zanieść bagaże do pokoju, a gdy wróciliśmy, pomógł nam również zanieść je z naszego zakwaterowania do bramy starożytnego miasta, abyśmy mogli złapać taksówkę, a także pomógł mi wpłacić gotówkę na moje konto Alipay. Właściciele oprowadzali nas po starożytnym mieście z wielkim entuzjazmem i radością, starając się zawsze porozumiewać, chociaż nie znaliśmy chińskiego, a oni sami nie mówili po angielsku. Na pewno wrócimy do tego miejsca, jeśli kiedyś odwiedzimy Zhouzhuang, i będziemy polecać je wielu znajomym.

I can’t say enough good things about this guesthouse—it exceeded every expectation! The first thing that stole my heart was its exquisite courtyard; it felt like a little oasis, with lush greenery, neatly arranged plants, and a serene pond where colorful koi fish glided around. Every morning, I’d sit by the pond with a cup of tea, watching the koi swim, and it instantly calmed my travel fatigue. The rooms and common areas are spotless, making the whole place feel even more welcoming. If you’re traveling with luggage, don’t forget to contact the hotel ahead of time for their amazing service. I’ll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers!

We had a wonderful stay here. The boss is incredibly kind and welcoming, and every morning there was a fresh basket of fruits prepared for guests, which was such a thoughtful touch. 🍎 The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring the area. What made the experience even more special was staying in a traditional Suzhou-style house — it felt authentic and unique. There is also a lovely rooftop area where you can sit and enjoy the view, which was one of the highlights of the stay. 🌿 Do note that because of the traditional architecture, some parts of the house have lower ceilings. Guests who are around 180 cm and above may need to be a bit more mindful when walking around.

Polecam, doświadczenie jest wspaniałe, domek na drzewie Fantasy Island, domek na drzewie Tribal i pokój Starry Sky są bardzo dobre. Zatrzymałem się w domku na drzewie Fantasy Island Deluxe. Rano i po południu można było wchodzić w interakcję z małymi zwierzętami. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, czułem to nie było wystarczająco dużo zabawy w jeden dzień, plus świat lodu i śniegu. Wydaje się, że zajmuje to tylko trzy dni, w przeciwnym razie byłoby to bardzo męczące. W hotelowej restauracji można karmić zebry, jelenie i żyrafy rano, kiedy przebywasz w zoo. Jeśli jedziesz samochodem, zaleca się udać się do samochodu wcześnie rano, aby móc nakarmić więcej. Samochód w strefie autonomicznej kosztuje w zasadzie 200. Wjazd jest nieograniczony i wyjazd na dwa dni W strefie pieszej można wypożyczyć samochody elektryczne. Osobiście uważam, że samochody elektryczne są bardzo wygodne i nie męczące. Noszenie dziecka na nogach może uratować połowę życia. Do plemienia wchodzą małe małpki w okolicy domku na drzewie, a na szczycie góry znajdują się małe małpki. Białego tygrysa i małego czarnego misia niestety nie wolno dotykać, gdy mają zęby. Warto je bawić z rodzicami i dziećmi.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even checked us in one day before our arrival and assisted with our luggage when we reached. We were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade, as it was available and they noticed we had more people. Extra linens were also provided for the additional bed — all without any extra charges, which we truly appreciated. The location is excellent, close to the entrance and main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and lovely 🥰 We absolutely loved the riverside view. Every one of us enjoyed our stay so much. The ancient town itself is not overly commercialized, making it serene and peaceful, with a slow and calming atmosphere. We truly loved both the hotel and the surroundings. 💙 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The overall stay experience exceeded expectations! The hotel environment is clean and elegant, the rooms are separated from wet and dry, the bathroom is easy to use, and the WiFi is smooth. The staff service is intimate and the demand is responsive. The breakfast category is rich and the taste is online, the surrounding area is complete for eating, drinking and playing, and the travel business is suitable. It is highly recommended.

We are visiting Yangzhou with two old friends. We all came in from USA for a 3 day vacation. The living experience in the hotel was very nice. The location is perfect for visiting many classical sites in Yangzhou taking nice local foods as well. This is a family own hotel with typical local style house. The room was clear and manager was very kind who gave us advises on every day's visiting and esting

This was just perfect! Through my rewards program we received a very nice upgrade to a courtyard room with bathtub, which we used. The hotel’s location is perfectly situated between Dongguan street and Pishi street (the latter is the nicer one, Dongguan st is just very touristy), so both are well reachable on foot. The hotel is new and comfortable, in a beautiful historic setting, garden included. The floor heating creates a comfortable environment in the room, and the staff go out of their way to help you with whatever you may need. We enjoyed our little foto shoot with Xiaohe from Xiaowan Lüpai too, shot on the premises. One remark for international visitors: the sockets in the rooms are 2 and 3 pin flat sockets, not the universal round ones you usually see in China hotels. You might need an adapter to charge your devices. However our room also had direct USB A and C plugs in the wall, so this was not really an issue. We were very impressed with Yangzhou, there’s plenty of things to see, like Shouxihu, Ge Garden, Daming Temple etc, and then there’s the local Huaiyang cuisine of course. You can easily spend 3 days here, it’s lovely.
