„The location of the resort by the lake is the highlight. The open dining hall/restaurant and the view of the long nice looking pool(infinity pool according to them) with flowering trees and greenery around it, extending almost upto or giving a visual effect of stretching to the lake is a visual treat. The cool breeze from lake, flows over the pool and reach us giving a soothing effect while dining at restaurant. Food is good enough. Rooms are comfortable enough. I think it was a value for money stay.”

„We stayed in the k era chitira (1bhk premium) and i would say it was just about ok. The boat is old and could have been maintained better. We are vegetarian and we found the food served to be better compared to other experience. There are multiple unknowns and it did not turn out that good. 1) there was an extra fee to transfer to a smaller boat to see the village, paddy field etc. 2) they dock the boat back at the same place where they started and not in a nearby village ( when i had enquired, i got an ambiguous response so may be my bad) 3) the room is pretty small and can be claustrophobic to some 4) it was not exactly what we had read on internet and forums. I would not do this again at least not with kera.”

„Getting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way. Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff. Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment. Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean. Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.”

„Thank you for the wonderful stay. Initially we thought its only one bedroom, but its entire apartment having 2 bedrooms. Every member of my family was truly happy with the experience, from the excellent location, facilities provided, easy accessibility to both the temples and the local market. Since the property is so close to the Guruvayur Temple, we were able to stay at the temple until the last pooja of the day, witness the Seeveli procession, and attend the temple closing rituals at night, which made our visit even more special. The apartment is pristine clean and tidy, all the amenities shown are intact and very available. The host also, always in contact with us and is guiding us, whenever we require. Check-in was @ 11 pm and it was very smooth. The apartment is very quite and its like ”Home Away from Home” Overall, it was a lovely and memorable stay, and we look forward to staying here again in the future!”

It is a shared apartment/a rental in the nice residential area of Trivandrum. The host was a very kind and welcoming person. Even though we just stayed a night, we would love to be back. It was reasonably priced and decent, quite close to some good restaurants and usually quiet and safe streets and neighbourhood. It is quite close to both the train station and the airport (about 15 minutes). Recommended for families.

An awesome place to stay, a lovely family and great value rooms, clean, spacious and characteristic. Close to central Fort Kochi, all the amenities and sights to see are within walking distance, can also get to any of them for about 30-50 rupees. Nice size wet room, clean and functional. Food in the morning was superb. Thank you very much, we will be coming back!

Property is located in prime location.It is inside City.Rooms are very small & no ceiling fan.Room bed was mentioned as king size.But it was very small.Toilet was very neat & clean.Room service is very bad.Getting the required things we have to follow up multiple times.They have included multiple food in boffet breakfast.Taste was awesome.Overall I can give average rating 3 when we are comparing with other hotel experience.

We stayed at Backwater Heritage Homestay on our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience all around.  The property is a lush, peaceful oasis of calm.  The hosts are incredibly warm and generous people.  The food and service are amazing.  Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming, authentic homestay.

Excellent stay. Friendly Staffs. Clean and spacious room. Greenery park around plam grove service villa gives you very calm atmosphere. There are a lot of love birds and aquarium in that campus. Toilet is very clean and nicely kept. There is no need of air conditioner during hot season because of very tall trees and plants. There is badminton court infront of villa for sports like activities. Staff's are very friendly and they are ready to help at any time. Kochi Lulu mall is nearby. Nearby metro station is edappally, kochi. MAJ Hospital is just 50 meters away from this plam grove service villa. And also there is a traffic police Assistant Commissioner office is also about 50 meters away from the stay. So, I give Five out of five for this wonderful Stay. Excellent stay. Friendly Staffs.
