„The hotel's location is great, right outside by the Ferris wheel beach, and very close to that sashimi restaurant. The room was a bit small, but the mattress was super comfortable. Check-in is self-service; they send a password to your email after you provide your information, and it's a keyless entry. Luggage storage is also self-service, but it's unattended, just in a room with a keypad lock.”

„This hotel is exactly as shown in the photos. The view is absolutely beautiful, with a Sea Tea View bus stop located right in front of the hotel, and a stunning view of Amok Beach. Not only that, the room is well equipped with a mini kitchen, microwave, and cooking utensils. The bathroom comes with a bidet, and the jacuzzi is excellent. It’s definitely worth the stay. The reception staff were very kind and even made sure I took the bus right in front of the hotel. I would love to come back and stay here again.”

„Place is near the bus terminal and the beach. Many shops and restaurants around. Everything was contactless and easy to maneuver. It was easy to apply for late check out as well. 10,000 won per hour. Great place to stay if you are heading to seoraksan. Bus stop is a 5 mins walk. Maybe because its new, the place is clean and mould free”

In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.
„Great location, 15 min walk from Bus Terminal and buses to Seoraksan park, rooms facing sea and a small island, nice terrace, huge rooms with everything one can wish for. The only issue for me as a foreigner was that the pension catered only to Korean tourists as all signs were in Korean language that complicated finding the reception (it is in level 2, and you have to ring a bell to a room - likely before check-in time nobody will open). The owner, although a friendly lady, doesn't speak English and it took me long time to communicate my need to leave a backpack in the corridor before heading out for hike. I was offered to drop it in my room at once, which was super nice.”

„Location is rather near the lake side. Very good views of the lake from the balcony off the bedroom - not so good from the main room. The room/apartment is very cozy and nicely furnished, and we spent quite a lot of time in the room as it didn’t stopped raining the entire time we are there. The design of the house is very well thought out and the owner actually came to say hi to us. Some clothing cabinets will be nice, and maybe another one or two chairs for the living area.”

„Super nice sea view , room look exactly like the photo . Room with simple cooking equipment that u can cook ramen or little snack . Dryer , towel all those basic things are provided. But 2 things u have to take notes , this homestay type of property doest not have reception or person incharge at the area , even during check in , so make sure u contact with trip.com to get the check in information before u reach there , or else if u can speak korean or u will need to at-least have a number that can call Korean number to contact property management when u arrive and tell them u need check in , i think simple English like “check in “ they can understand. If u don’t have any number that can call or did not contact trip earlier on to get the information, u will be there and wait and u can’t check in smoothly for sure . Secondly this location is far from the city area (like ktx/ bus express terminal and anmok beach ) this location is only near to sundubu gelato by foot about 20min. My suggestion is if u wanna stay here , prepare food and drink and stay whole day just in room to enjoy the view of sea and nice room if u did not driving . Basically for the view and nice room , I will come back again .”

„Great location with many seafood restaurants nearby and also a couple of nice cafes to chill with a good view. It’s better to take a taxi when coming from the bus terminal with luggages. There are buses that take to the downtown area as well. Room is clean and convenient with its amenities plus there is a washer and dryer in the room. Check in was easy with instructions although there is a need to follow the 4pm check in time and 11am check out time. No daily housekeeping unless stay is 3 nights or more. Overall it was a great stay! Well-recommended.”

„The hotel's location is ideal, just a two-minute walk across the street to the beach. The room is equipped with cooking facilities, a decent size, clean, and tidy. 😄 Self-service check-in and check-out were quite convenient. I stayed for three nights, and it was clear that room cleaning was not included; there would be an extra charge for it. No one came to collect trash, and there were no disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste. We only had two large and two small towels, which might not be enough for a three-day stay. The value for money was just okay. Sokcho is a tourist city, so prices are generally higher. 🙁”

The place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby. Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all. The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself. Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip. We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat. The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned. The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski. During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house. My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes. I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly. Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

So I often eaten in Gyeongpo and took a taxi. - Not bad, but overall a little poor 1. No quilt, just a very thin cloth on the mattress 2. I can't lie down watching TV (only a mat on the double floor TV is below) 3. The terrace is small and the door is not locked 4. Spa bathtub is good. But dust comes out. A little lack of hot water. Spa facilities but no robes. Towels were a bit wet - Good point. 1. It's quiet and not ocean view, but the sea is very close 2. The rooftop barbecue place was good 3. ok to take pictures 4. It's a good place to take a lot of luggage I told you what you needed by text with the boss.

The boss is very good, because the transportation and shopping are inconvenient, they will help pick up and drop off, you can cook and barbecue, very suitable for a family to relax together! I will go back to Seoul if I have the opportunity to come! Thanks again boss!

The best place I've ever stayed in! Everything was thought out to the smallest detail, comfortable and modern, very clean, cozy, and beautiful! The hostess is amazing, attentive and kind. The room is quite large and spacious, it is not stuffy, but in addition, it is possible to turn on the air conditioner or open the doors to the terrace without fear of mosquitoes flying in, because there are nets installed. Stuffiness in the room is a critical problem for me. And here it is perfectly solved. And the mattress and duvet are absolutely incredible. I don't know what kind of technology it is, but it was perfect: not too soft and not too hard, everything seemed to adapt to you, and in the morning you didn't want to get out of bed. I slept absolutely amazingly here. And what a wonderful bathroom, and the steam closet... I could go on and on listing the advantages of this place. Usually, when you come to another country, you only need to sleep in your room; you don't need much more. But here, we just wanted to be in the room! Because it's so nice and wonderful, because it's calm and peaceful. Unfortunately, our time in the city was limited; there was so much to see and do, but we returned to the hotel every evening with joy. It was an indescribable experience; we are absolutely delighted! I highly recommend it! And I would gladly come back here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The room is spacious, has 2 bathrooms and toilets make usage convenient for a family. We stayed there because we went skiing in Elysian so it’s 15 min drive. I don’t think it’s very accessible by public transport. Interior design is a bit strange, combining colorful and traditional wooden bulky furniture, the wall is painted black and there is only one small window in the big living room so the feeling is dark, and the led light hanging on the second floor fence don’t work. So I would say facility and hygiene is just ok , but the price kind of explain this, so it’s acceptable.

Contactless check-in is unfamiliar, but it has its pros and cons. The feeling of a well-managed property has been reduced by 50%. Perhaps it was summer vacation season, but the parking lot, which stretches all the way down to the third basement level, was completely full. The parking lot itself was small and cramped. Even when it was full, cars kept coming in, causing a lot of congestion. The room had a small kitchen, a bed, and a bathroom with a shower. We booked a triple room for a family of three, but it was so cramped that we were immediately taken aback. We booked a second room and split the space. The accommodations seemed to be individually divided and rented, but honestly, there were more inconveniences. The interior was decorated with adorable dolls, which I appreciated.

It was a really nice stay! Since the room was quite affordable for a 3-day vacation, I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be much better than I expected, especially for the price. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was peaceful and had a charming village atmosphere. Each room has a table outside, so we were able to have dinner and relax on the porch in the evenings, which was a lovely experience. The accommodation is a bit farther from Mukho’s city center, but it was definitely worth it for the price. It was also easy to get a taxi whenever we wanted to go into the city. Basic amenities such as shampoo, body wash, and towels are provided, although you may still prefer to bring your own toiletries for personal comfort. There’s also a shared microwave available, and each room comes with its own refrigerator. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to the owner. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel very welcome, and I would happily stay here again.
