This beautiful Motel with the 'Mostest' was the best motel I can ever remember visiting in 40 years. Beautiful bedding and towels and pillows. Towels could be a little less high but it worked and office can offer you other pillows I was told the next morning when I mentioned it. Tall fridge with microwave and tea potwith a couple of real cups. Dish cloth and tea towel if needed. Ice bucket also. Bathroom clean with shampoo, conditioner, soap and make up remover pad enclosed. Tv had access to Netflix, Prime and tons of other channels! We have Never seen that for free even in. Brand name hotel. We had no time dor tv because up early to continue our road trip adventures. Beautiful location and property. Visit out back to the right of the office and enjoy the views at the waterside with comfy couch and chairs area and another area with adirondack chairs. Loretta the office attendant was exceptional and the cleaner, did her job VERY WELL!

Very pleasant establishment. Clean room, friendly staff, good food for a dinner takeout and breakfast the next morning. We came in around 8pm from long ride and was greeted with a smile and an offer for takeout dinner from the restaurant on sight when it closed at 9pm. Room was clean, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable beds with warm bedding, good working A/C and a beautiful balcony view, all reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was friendly, accommodating, fresh and better than a typical hotel included breakfast. Wonderful restaurant atmosphere and design! It was unclear to me when I booked online that a “physical” credit card was required to use for a damage deposit. *I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home. (I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me). The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱 I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱 It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental. SO…beware travellers!!

The hotel has a very stylish and boutique feel. The furniture in the room is old style as well as the drapery. A lot different from the chain hotel vibe but in a very good way. Hotel is close by to coffee and breakfast cafes as well as a few seafood restaurants. The hotel itself also has a very good restaurant and bar which when I visited was full of customers so you know the food must be good. Check-in took longer than usual but did have a nice chat with the desk officer. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a different feel than the chain hotel.

If you are planning on doing the Cabot Trail, and not starting in Sydney, this is a great place to stay before you start the drive. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the on-site laundry was great - it saved us a lot of time trying to find one in the next few days. The owner was very helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip so far, with lots of fresh fruit.

The bedding is clean and you can sleep soundly. You can check in from your smartphone and you will receive your room number and room password to your smartphone. For breakfast, read the QR code the night before and order it. Lots of bread, warm boiled *, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, yogurt ... It's great that it's a wide variety and free. There are plenty of chargers. The refrigerator is also big, you can bake bread and bagels for breakfast, even a microwave oven, and it's perfect. GS, steakhouse is right in front of you, and the highway is right away. It's really convenient. I want to stay again next time.

i was a little bit reluctant because of the low rating in google, but when we had our stay there, it wasnt bad at all. the only thing that id say wasnt really good was the breakfast. not much to choose from, and the poor taste of coffee. Nevertheless, for its price, id stay here again.

I always have a good experience at this motel. It is just down the road from my daughter’s home so very convenient. It is comfortable and cozy. My room was a housekeeping unit so would be convenient for a longer stay to cook a few meals in the unit.  The bed was very comfortable.

Das Hotel hat nur 6 Zimmer und ist ein altes historisches Gebäude. Alles daher etwas hellhörig. Man hörte, wenn jemand nebenan die Toulette benutzte. Das Hotel liegt an einer stärker befahrenen Straße und leider hört man auch die Autos. Wir hatten das Sunroom und das konnte man nicht abdunkeln. Nicht zu empfehlen für Menschen, die Dunkelheit brauchen. Es ist schön eingerichtet, aber die Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig, der Strom im Bad war ausgefallen und man hatte den Eindruck, dass eine technische Renovierung notwendig wäre. Das Personal ist super nett. Frühstück eher überschaubar. Alles abgezählt und kein Nachschub vorgesehen. Direkt nebenan ist die Weinbar. Wir haben eine Probe gemacht und wollten es auf das Zimmer schreiben lassen, ging aber nicht, weil die Businesses getrennt sind. Kann man so machen, ist aber nicht kundenfreundlich. Alles in Allem für 1-2 Nächte OK, aber unsere Erwartungen waren höher.
