„It's 5 nice place . Location is great. A few minutes walk from metro station. Electronics market is also 7-10 minutes of walk, parks, and everything is nearby. The capsule and reception area is really quiet. it's suitable to work. I mean super quiet. Staff is very helpful. But the only problem is they don't provide towels.”

Lokalizacja: W pobliżu zachodniego wejścia, 400 metrów i 6 minut spacerem. Lokalizacja jest dogodna do wzięcia taksówki, ponieważ znajduje się na poboczu drogi i jest łatwa do znalezienia. „This wasn’t my first time staying at Woping Hostel—and honestly, that says a lot. I’ve visited Guangzhou several times over the past few years, and Woping consistently remains one of my top choices. Every time I come back, the quality, cleanliness, and service are exactly as good as I remember. The consistency is impressive, especially for a hostel, because many places tend to decline over time. But Woping has managed to maintain the same warm atmosphere, the same high standards, and the same attention to detail that made me fall in love with it the first time. I’ve even recommended Woping Hostel to several of my friends who visited Guangzhou, and all of them ended up loving it too. Some were solo travelers, some came in groups—but every single one told me they had a comfortable and memorable stay. It feels good to recommend a place and know that people trust your taste. On this recent trip, I also noticed a small but thoughtful improvement: they now provide lotion as part of the shared amenities. It may seem like a tiny detail, but it shows how much the hostel listens to guests’ needs and continues to refine their service. Little touches like this make the stay even more comfortable, especially in colder seasons when the weather can dry out your skin.”

„Quite impressed with the stay this time. I’ve been travelling around China and stayed in a couple hostels, I feel that the amenities here are great, especially the design of the shower area, there’s a double door ‘system’ to prevent your dry clothes from getting wet, this is lacking in most of the hostels I’ve been. Regarding the rooms, light switchs and locks are all designed in silent mode to prevent disturbing the rest of people in the room. Mattress is soft, my back feels comfy lying on it! Slept soundly at night I love it! The general open space area is quite cozy, able to chill and or make friends with others. Coffee from the bar counter taste rich and aromatic. Area of improvement: Cleanliness is great in general, far better than most places, but could still be improved, example 2nd floor toilet can be cleaned in a more timely manner to avoid pungent smell.”

„LOVED this place. Feels like a real hostel, very social atmosphere. Many foreigners and friendly Chinese who spoke English. Most staff spoke english, which is a rarity in China. Comfortable bed with light and a plug. Good hot water shower. Washing machine available for 5 yuan. Full kitchen, even has an air fryer. Location is near one metro station, though biking is the easiest to get to Futian center. It's in a residential super-complex, so there's several grocery stores and restaurants, plus a large and lively park full of residents. A great window into Chinese daily urban life.”

„The hostel is close to the metro station. The welcome package was thoughtful. The bed was clean, spacious and comfortable. The common area was good, although some people seemed to claim their spot and were there all the time. There were plenty of cleaning staff. There was a dedicated makeup area which I was thankful for. I've stayed in many hostels recently, in which getting into the bathroom to take a shower has been near impossible due to people taking hours to do their make up in there! Someone used this area to conduct a series of TEFL lessons online. They were so loud. I could hear every word from my bed in the dorm. The soundproofing wasn't that great. The showers had a wet dry divide with a curtain separating the dry area from the shower. These didn't fully close. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff would fully open the curtain into the shower room which took away a sense of privacy from the corridor. What was the point of the curtains in the first place if they are just being kept open? The beds in the dorm had no hooks, so everything had to be sat on shelves. You are provided with a big, fluffy bath towel to use during the stay. However, there is no-where to put it after using it. There is a drying area for clothes on the balcony which was packed with clothes. I didn't see anyone hang their towel out there. Most people had it laying on their bed which is not hygienic. There are a lot of stairs to carry heavy luggage up! All in all, I enjoyed my stay. However, it was lacking some practical aspects that would have otherwise made it perfect.”

„I stayed here for 2 nights, before heading to Chaozhou. Should I visit Shantou again, I will book here again. I'm very impressed by the hospitality, cleanliness, thoughtfulness, and panoramic view it offers. The location is a stone's throw from the ”influencer street” with cool, quaint cafes, interesting speciality restaurants and shops. It's not far from Longyan South Road, the famous food street. I was able to join other travellers to eat at some highly recommended restaurants, which would otherwise be challenging foe a solo travellers. The lady boss treated everyone like family and I feel the cozy and relax vibe. I would have wanted to extend if not because I already made reservations in Chaozhou. I feel that Shantou people loves their food and certainly takes pride of it. I feel that perhaps you can walk into any eatery and not be disappointed. Shantou is one of my favourite cities in this trip, Shantou being my 2nd of 6 stops. I highly recommend n23.5 degree youth hostel and Shantou to anyone.”

„There are plenty of tables and chairs in the common area, easily enough for everyone, along with three or four two-person sofas facing each other. The washbasins have mirrors, and there are about five or six showers, which is perfectly sufficient. I rarely have to queue when I go to wash up. The dorm room itself is quite spacious, and the bed is wide and well-ventilated from both sides. This location is right in a 'Red Culture' district, and the walk in is well-lit, making me feel very safe. The path is straightforward, not winding at all, and easy to find. You can take the subway to Changgang Station, Exit C1, and you don't even need to cross the road to get here – very convenient. Overall, it's fantastic! The atmosphere is great too; everyone respects each other's space and it's quite harmonious. Plus, I booked a 6-person dorm, and the front desk lady upgraded me to a 4-person dorm for free! ❤️❤️❤️ The only minor downsides are that the bathroom is a bit narrow and stuffy, and it can feel a little warm around the washbasins and showers during peak bathing times. The aisle by the lockers is a bit tight, and there's no elevator, so you have to carry luggage up to the second floor (though the front desk lady helped me, so it wasn't a big issue). For food delivery, you need to go downstairs from the second floor to pick it up outside the main entrance; if it's hot, you need to grab it quickly as it can't sit for long. The soundproofing is neither good nor bad, just average, meaning if someone in the next room accidentally bumps your side of the bed frame, you'll hear it. Also, there are two drying areas: one with two long metal rods above the washing machine, and another in the dorm hallway. Both are indoors and quite large, so it's not really an issue. Apart from these minor points, there are no other drawbacks.”
