For the price, it was everything you need! Clean spaces, comfortable capsule bed, drinking water, towels and shower slippers. The location is a 20 minute bike ride away from the ancient city center, but there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The hostel provides earplugs which significantly increase comfort of sleep, as the floors are quite squeaky. I am very happy with my stay and would come back again!

I came to Datong and stayed here for three days. Downstairs is the antique street of the ancient city. It is very close to Huayan Temple. It is very convenient for shopping and eating. The only downside is that the towels in the bathroom aren't disposable, but otherwise it's fine. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Impression Datong and Yunjinhui, both serving local Shanxi specialties at reasonable prices; I recommend trying them. Getting a taxi is also very convenient; there are many taxis on the street that will stop on your whim, even more convenient than ride-hailing services.
