GGuest UserLarge clean comfortable bed, so that’s the main thing for me. Bathroom was small, tight squeeze, hot water on a timer so only available when the pubs open. Some small areas, corners were in need of a deeper clean, mainly behind the door.  Plenty of choice in hot drinks available and a couple of packs of biscuits, greatly appreciated.  TV had plenty of channels but the TV itself was very small for the room size and viewing distance from the bed.  Overall we had a comfortable night and would stay again. The pub was very nice and we ate there 3 times during our stay and food was lovely every time. Fairly priced too. Staff very friendly and helpful.

GGuest UserIdeal location for a stay. Right in the town centre with plenty of quirky shops nearby. Next door to the corn exchange venue we were visiting. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spotless and despite being a bit dated, had all facolities needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the wonky staircase but wouldnt like to use it after a few beers!

GGuest UserGreat service, friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and well kept. The bed was rather old and creaky, but otherwise comfortable. Always enjoy staying at hotels and inns with a lot of history, this is certainly one of them!
