A fantastic place to stay! Warm, modern and welcoming. All
The staff are lovely and friendly. Our private en suite room and bathroom was spacious, clean and tidy, the reception area modern and welcoming too. Car parking available if you need it. The staff even made us a pizza at 11pm as we arrived back tired, wet and cold from being at the match.
The best bit was the breakfast, it was amazing and in a separate dinjng area. Full choice of traditional hot English breakfast or continental. Fresh coffee and tea and juices too.

Great sized kitchen and common area with free tea and coffee. I booked a ten bed room with curtains on the beds but was put in a more basic eight bed without curtains. I was told they do not guarantee room type until you arrive. The beds were wobbly and creaky and the pillow was very thin. A little cold in the common areas.

It's centrally located. The beds are comfortable, and the sheets are clean. However, the bathrooms could be cleaned more carefully. The rooms are newly renovated, so there are some shortcomings. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Location is good, looks clean. Shampoo and body wash provided. However, quite close to pubs so quite noisy at night, rooms are smaller than expected, no curtains, toilets are quite small as well :/ overall a one night stay at the 8 people room was generally okay

I arrived late in the middle of the night from the Liverpool airport and couldn't check-in until around 7-7:30 a.m.
I was mostly grateful to just have a place to lay my head down and catch up on some much needed sleep.
Thankfully, the family that runs the hostel was very friendly and supportive when I came in.
Everyone at the hostel was very nice and I felt ”at home” right away.
I appreciated that. I certainly enjoy the feeling of being ”welcomed” rather than feeling uneasy and watched which can happen in many other cities and countries.
Like others have mentioned, the overall building could use some renovations but it is sufficient enough for one or two nights.
The location is ideal. If you are looking to get a quick glance or preview of the center of the city, it is very convenient to walk to.
I was glad to have access to most of the main sites as well as the waterfront (near the Tate and Liverpool Museum) by foot without having to get on a bus.

KKenneth OramThe facilities consists of access to a shared kitchen. Shopping for dried and cold food solved our needs. I had my portable heat element me so making coffee, tea and hot soup course done in our room. We have never been in an English hotel before where passport details were required. They are at the Malacuna, so have them ready, even as someone who is English.

VVadim ZahharovPlace was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short.
As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good.
Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well.
Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience.
SSpenceryoujiThe room is quite big, the hotel decoration is very british, the facilities are very old, the sprinkler is slow, and the sprinkler chain in my room is rotten. This hotel is in the village, quite far from the city center, and it takes about 25 minutes to take a taxi to the center of Liverpool. The room facilities are old, the front desk is strong, the kitchen and restaurant waiter, breakfast must go down half an hour in advance or it will take a long time to eat. Overall, it is barely possible.
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Kabannas Hotel in Liverpool and would definitely recommend it. The location was phenomenal right in the centre, with everything within easy walking distance, which made exploring the city so convenient.
The hotel had a great atmosphere, and the bar was a real highlight with a lively but relaxed vibe. The staff were all lovely and very helpful throughout my stay. The self check-in was also super easy and made arrival completely hassle-free.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made it a great place to come back to after a day out. Overall, a fantastic, convenient stay in the heart of Liverpool.

GGuest UserJai was welcomed by James and Tim, two super people who, despite my English banking, managed to comfort me and be listening.
