Hostels w: Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea

Really convenient to be near lots of restaurants, there is a really good bakery cafe in the same building & coupons for the bar across the road. Breakfast included in the stay is basic with eggs, toast and fried rice. There is juice but no coffee. Rooms are huge as is the bath. Only minor thing was the light switches are meant to be remote controlled but that didn’t work so you have to manually go to the switches on the wall near the door. Would stay again.

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job keeping everything clean and fresh throughout my stay. The view from my room was breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s facilities. The pool area was well-maintained and perfect for relaxation, while the fitness center had everything needed for a good workout. The on-site restaurant served delicious food with a great variety of options, and the breakfast buffet was simply outstanding – fresh, diverse, and of high quality. The location of the hotel was also a huge plus. It was conveniently situated near major attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being in a central location, the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect balance between accessibility and relaxation. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure guests had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit! It was nice that I could see the ocean view to my heart's content because it was located right in front of Yeongildae Beach. There was an outdoor terrace in the room, and it even had a bathtub, so it was really nice to take a half-body bath while looking at the ocean. The only regret is that I could clearly see the room next door. ㅜㅜ Fortunately, there were empty rooms on both sides on the day we used it. It's hard to say here, but because of the outdoor terrace bathtub, my boyfriend and I made exciting memories that will last a lifetime. ^^ The bedding was also very clean and comfortable, and it was ace. The next day, I checked out at 12 o'clock because of a hangover, but since it was a weekday, I was able to use it without any additional charges. I definitely want to use this place again next time. ㅎㅎ

The accommodation was great. It was clean and looked new. The lobby was decorated very cutely; I loved it. Inside the room, the bed was a mattress type, but it was comfortable. However, the floor heater seemed a bit too hot. The bathroom had separate wet and dry zones, which was very good.

The service was excellent! The young owners went over and beyond call of duty to help and accommodate me during my stay. I stayed for a few days and loved the room. The whole guesthouse was very interesting. The decor was great. Also, the young owners love animals and fish. This made the first floor very interesting. I am really grateful for their help in recommendations and directions. As I have said, they went out of their way to help me!

It was my second time staying here. The hostel is walking distance from places like Daereungwon. Gyeongju Golden Street is also nearby with lots of restaurants. The hostel provides an electric blanket. There are indoor shoes to use, as well as separate slippers for the shower inside the bathroom. There was shampoo and bodywash, but no conditioner. It was self check-in, with names written on a note with a keycard and instructions. Other guests were also polite. The bedding was clean, smelled normal.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel in six months, which speaks volumes. The owners are very friendly, the hotel is conveniently located, the rooms are clean, the sanitation facilities are well-maintained, and the water pressure for showering and washing is strong and the water temperature is consistent. This time, I discovered that the rooms also have underfloor heating (my last stay was in late July 2025).

It's a modern, clean place. The rooms have large windows and air-con, and the pot-noodle breakfast is a nice touch.The only problem: there is never anyone at the front desk. The light in my bathroom was out, and there was no way to convey this message: no English spoken on the phone, and messages bounced back. I didn't have a problem with it, as there was enough light coming in from the room, but it's not ideal if there was a real issue

I hate to give a bad review but this staff member was probably the worst I ever came across. Be aware the check in is 10pm - much later than others. The room itself was fine, very happy and wanted to extend, but the staff member insisted checking out, then coming back at 10pm, even with extension. When I asked him, he said “it’s not my business”. Terrible attitude. He then tried to charge 20,000 cash for keeping the “free upgrade” I was given. No idea why you give with one hand and take with the other. Had to complain and argue and even still they refused refund for second day. Took me 3 hours or messaging to get money back. Just avoid. Sadly a great place, location so so but the staff member we dealt with was the worst person I’ve met in Korea.

It was very nice because it was close to the city center and the facilities were clean.
