It was a perfect setting close to Abcoude, however in the country. We enjoyed learning about the history of the hotel. We loved the room, comfortable beds and great showers with excellent pressure. We also appreciated having some plates and cutlery, a kettle and coffee machine. The breakfast was tasty. There was a relaxed atmosphere around the hotel, while being efficient. The hotel has ample parking and the train station is a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are ample walks around the hotel. We definitely will recommend this hotel, it was an excellent time for my husband and myself.

Great lodge, great people, great place! Loved the lodge with its views, peace and quiet, nice bath, nice bed, pitch black at night. A good place for a stopover and a good place for a few nights away from the city. Would go again soon! Best, Frits.

my wife and I really enjoyed your hotel for our 2 night stay. biggest positives were air conditioning, the dbl shower!!, the comfortable bed and linens, and the proximity to the train and Abcoude. we went into Amsterdam both days and it was easy, with our phone and data of course. we heard the hotel food was great, but did not make it to the restaurant. next time. when traveling in a foreign country, it is always nice for us to receive a warm welcome, which we did from De Witte Dame. thank you Brian and Shauneen, Canada

Simply superb hotel for a couple having a stay in or near Amsterdam. The hotel has been very beautifully restored, and the staff are the friendliest we have ever met. The breakfast was delicious too. Extremely easy to get in to central Amsterdam as the train is only 5 mins walk away. Parking right on site too. Extremely highly recommended.

The hotel well surpassed our expectations from the friendly greeting on arrival by the new owners to the quality of the rooms and service. The menu had good choice for dinner, is reasonably priced and the inclusive continental breakfast was excellent, almost more than we could eat. The whole restaurant has been recently updated and creates a very good atmosphere demonstrated by the number of visitors and locals that just drop in to use it. Only minor improvement would be to ensure there is a supply of tea in the room to accompany the plentiful supply of coffee, a very minor aspect and was just overlooked by accident we think. Our only other note for the hotel would be to advise that they update the listing on Trip Advisor which shows some older photos and doesn't do the hotel justice.

Hoe vaak reis je niet naar verre landen, terwijl er zoveel leuks valt te beleven in eigen land. En niet eens ver van Amsterdam. Het oude station van Abcoude verbouwd tot een heerlijk boetiekhotel! Ik kreeg een upgrade naar een prive-suite met uitzicht op het weiland met schaapjes. Wat een rust en heerlijke omgeving. Heel vriendelijk personeel! De kamer was heel schoon en mooi ingericht. Er is genoeg te beleven in de omgeving of in Amsterdam (20 minuten met de trein) Ik zou zo weer teruggaan. Enorme aanrader!

Fantastisch hotel. De medewerkers zijn stuk voor stuk ontzettend gastvrij en heel vriendelijk. Ze denken graag met je mee. Zo mochten we onze auto na uitchecken laten staan zodat we nog even Amsterdam in konden. En toen wij ‘s nachts thuiskwamen van een concert in de Ziggo dome was de bar net dicht en stonden de dames van de avonddienst al met de jassen aan. Maar ze opperden meteen dat we iets mee konden nemen naar de kamer en gingen meteen terug naar binnen om dit te regelen! Het enige minpuntje is dat de waterdruk in de douche soms wegvalt, zeker geen ramp want je kan nog steeds heerlijk douchen. Schoon & frisse kamers. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Heerlijke overnachting in de gehad in 1 van de private suites. Wakker worden aan een klein beekje met uitzicht over de weilanden. Super vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk afgesloten met een koffie op het terras in het zonnetje! Echt een aanrader.

Mooi ingericht hotel met oog voor detail en veel aparte kenmerken omdat het vroeger een stationsgebouw was. Het bijbehorende restaurant twijfelden we vooraf over vanwege wisselende reviews, maar ook dat is uitstekend verzorgd. Heerlijk gegeten en erg vriendelijke personeel.
