Nido Degli Dei

What a great place to stay! Great cooking classes; excellent teacher; delicious, fresh food! Comfortable accommodations, beautiful vistas, and very helpful staff. Location is convenient to the town, to wineries, to mozzarella making and a short drive to Amalfi and Pompeii. Restaurants, gelato, the path of the gods, and some small shops are just a short walk away. Would gladly return!

The hotel was kept beautifully, in a gorgeous location. All staff were really welcoming and it was peaceful and lovely to stay here.

Went on our honeymoon. Gabriella was very helpful throughout our stay and very welcoming. Salvatore (her son) saved us on two occasions with transport. Couldn't ask for better host. The view's were to die for. Was 3 minutes away from the night life and restaurants etc of San Lazaro. Which had a lovely community spirit. Buses were difficult and always busy, but in algerola we got on first usually so had seats. Should be more buses but smaller personally. Breakfast was very good and a good selection of foods. We didn't have an evening meal as we were out and about too much exploring. However I'm sure it would have been incredible. Room was very good, shower small but powerful. Only one minor issue, my wife stubbed her toe a few times. Whilst she can be clumsy, the wardrobe was quite close to the bed making it difficult to walk past and the bed leg stand pokes out a bit. Couldn't of asked for more. Had a brilliant stay, minus the stubbed toe. Can't wait to go back.

Landlady Gabriella was as hospitable, helpful and informative as could be; ditto her family. We were very happy to have stayed at this property.

We stayed here as a couple, we arrived early just hoping to drop the car off and go sightseeing for a few hours before we checked in. The owner was so welcoming, she made us a coffee and we sat and enjoyed the incredible view on the terrace. She informed us how to get around by bus and gave us a timetable. The whole place was spotless, she was polishing and washing the sheets/towels when we got there. The maids were also fabulous and really friendly. The room was beautiful, our favourite in Italy, it felt homely, welcoming, clean and comfortable. This hotel is a true gem. It’s also a short walk to castle ruins and even more great views of the amalfi coast. I will add photos of the view from the hotel.

Wonderful Italian experience. Gabriella was the best Host ever. Ready to assist and guide in any way. Fun to talk with and a seriously hard worker. I felt the real Italian experience in her B&B. Everything you need is on site and the neighbors greeted me with open arms we well. Highly recommend this B&B. I found a gem.

Had four wonderful days at this property. Delightful location away from hustle of Positano and Amalfi but easy to get to both. The decor is very authentic and the rooms have everything you need. The food was excellent. The hotel was titled as a B&B but Gabriella made dinner on request for us. It was wonderful, regional food. Fresh and delicious

My friend and I spent 8 days at this fabulous bed and breakfast an hour (on winding mountain roads) south of Naples. The owner (and chef) Gabriella was welcoming and full of fabulous information about where to go and things to do. Her husband, Frederico, picked us up at Naples airport and during our stay drove us to see Pompeii, visit a vineyard, and to Ravello which is a beautiful town in the area. While we were there, guests included Americans, Serbs, Germans, French, and Italians. Gabriella's bed and breakfast deservedly attracts a varied and international clientele: women travelling alone and in groups, families with teenagers and another with a newborn, a couple in their 80s, a *** couple in their 30s. And my friend and I: two 67 years old retirees. The rooms are lovely, the views are spectacular, breakfast every day was delicious and varied. My friend and I cooked 5 dinners with Gabriella and she took us to a cheesemaker, lemoncello (specialty of the area) store, and ceramic studio all run by friends of hers. Garbriella made the trip personal and warm. The area, including the Amalfi coast, is beautiful and Nido Degli Dei is a wonderful base for day trips. I recommend this enthusiastically and urge you to stay there!

Gabriela was so warm and welcoming! She helped us with figuring out the bus to get to Amalfi. Bus stop short walk from the property. The property has beautiful grounds, pool and spectacular view of the sea. Comfy beds and pillows. We ate at Leonardo’s which was a short walk and was delicious!
