For a 5 star resort, Bill & Coo Coast (not to be confused with their sister property, Bill & Coo SUITES AND LOUNGE - which is excellent) should get 2 stars because of their unprofessional manager, Michael. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful resort and kind staff get overshadowed by an unprofessional and passive aggressive manager. Since we booked with Amex, we are entitled to a free room upgrade if rooms are available. We inquired about it and were told we would hear back within an hour or two. The entire day passed and no one got back to us. We checked online and saw that there were available rooms, so why were we not able to be upgraded or notified after our inquiries? We loved Mykonos so much that we wanted to stay one more night. When we inquired about this, Michael told us it would be $675 to keep the same room we were in. We told him we would get back to him the next day. The next morning, Michael came to our door to notify us that the price went up to 1,200 for the night. He said there was nothing he could do as the resort was fully booked. This resort was DEFINITELY not fully booked as we checked online, and found MULTIPLE rooms available. He was lying straight to our face. We decided to go elsewhere because we had had it with his pretentious attitude. At check out, I asked to confirm his name and the second I did his attitude changed. He offered us farewell drinks to which we politely declined. My review was not going to change because he was trying to rectify the past 3 days with a few drinks. Now for the good things. The staff are absolutely WONDERFUL! Lina, Roberto and Fay did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible given the situation with Michael. Lina gave us so many recommendations of restaurants and lounges to check out in Mykonos and we loved every single one. Her and Fay both did a great job helping us book reservations and transfers. Every driver we drove with was very polite and professional. I will note that unlike some other resorts on the island, the transfers to and from the port/airport are not free. To the rest of the staff, keep up the great work and thank you for trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
