Minos Beach Art Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels

I never understood people who return to the same hotel over and over for a vacation until I came to Minos Beach, this place is special. This was our second time in less than a year. We 100% would come every year and met several lovely couples who have been coming for years. I think most who go do return. It’s a hotel where even when nearly full it feels like there is hardly anyone there. The food is amazing, from the beautiful breakfast buffet through to the various restaurants. One of the most special things about Minos Beach is the staff, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with smiles, nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to Angela, Simos, Kostas, Despina, Yiannis, thank you for making our trip special again (sadly some names we can’t remember). The new cocktails were amazing and we particularly enjoyed the traditional night this year and drank way too much Raki 🤣 Thank you to everyone at Minos Beach, we will be back The Camerons

Stunning hotel.Beautiful bungalows on private beach.Gorgeous scenery throughout the hotel grounds.Great choice of food.Friendly staff especially in Restuarant and staff who came to service the bungalow.I highly recommend.

Very welcoming and heartwarming employees. Treated us very well and put a lot of effort in out well-being. Definitely going every year as from now. It feels like a second Home everytime I go. My absolute favourite place, totally recommend it!

We held our wedding at Minos Beach at the end of May. To say it was perfect would be an understatement! From our initial meetings with Helena our wedding was spectacularly designed in exactly the way we could only imagine - she was awesome! Every detail of this hotel is meticulously delivered, from the moment you walk into reception and onward, nothing is too much trouble. All of our staff interactions were as they were our friends. Our stay was excellent, the wedding was perfect & we and our guests have memories that will last a lifetime and it’s all down to the Minos Beach Team. Thank you

The entire hotel is perfect! the warm sea water, the restaurants, the activities. Today, we were at the spa and we really enjoyed both the friendliness of the girl at the reception and the excellent therapists. Thank you very much! We highly recommend it!

Relaxed luxury, absolutely fantastic food, superb staff and outstanding accommodation just a few feet from the water’s edge. Minos is beautifully designed…no high rise blocks, no noisy reception / foyer. Aesthetically pleasing minimalist structures, and contemporary furniture sit amongst mature and varied gardens around the bay. The local music provided by the hotel near the bar, restaurant was wonderful too. Special thanks to the chefs who produce first class food from local ingredients day in day out. 10/10

Visited at the end of May 2024. Wonderful experience with great rooms, good food; both at the buffet and the variety of restaurants, friendly staff at the reception, the bars, restaurants, and cleaning staff, basically all over. Also booked a couple of treatments at the spa to fix my back, which was stuck for some time. Thanks to Despina for the back & neck massages, they were great!

Minos beach art hotel far exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a relaxing family vacation with some adventure and a lot of lounging in the sun. We found that at Minos beach hotel. The property is absolutely stunning with amazing gardens and art all over. Rooms are beautiful- so clean and comfortable beds! Definitely recommend a water view with a private pool. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety of Cretan dishes. The service was impeccable. Maria helped us with dining reservations as well as suggesting and arranging excursions. We loved ending the night with dinners on the property and getting to know Simos and his staff. We are already dreaming of our return trip.

May 2024: We stayed for 10 days and the time flew by. Having travelled to many Greek islands, this was our first visit to Crete. Minos Beach Art hotel is 15 mins from Agios, a pleasant walk in to a very clean town, so well located, with various shops/restaurants near by. The hotel itself is just an 11/10 for us...... Simply Perfect !!!!! From the moment you are greeted by reception ,to departing, you are just made to feel completely special , by all the great staff that they employ. I cannot individually name names, as they all work to a super high standard to ensure that you are catered for in every need you have.Nothing is too much trouble.Our stay was in a waterfront bungalow which was modern , immaculately clean, and directly on the water's edge. The grounds are beautiful, and obviously well looked after, and the art displays within the hotel are astounding, very subtle, you actually feel like your staying in a hidden art gallery. The food is delicious, with a good choice, and breakfast is plentiful & again the best we have ever eaten, in comparison to other 5 star luxury hotels we have visited.Minos Beach hotel was so wonderful and chilled that we only managed to leave the hotel for one day. We visited the town & a restaurant Pelagos.......... you must try it , the food & decor is wonderful. The ages of guests were very varied (not so many children), which I feel conveys how great a hotel is. Minos Beach has everything to offer, albeit it isn't cheap, but as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for"........... and boy, it is a complete delight...............
