Elounda Peninsula All Suite Hotel, Six Senses Spa

Z drugiej strony willa została podniesiona do wyższego standardu, ponieważ hotel był zaledwie w jednej trzeciej pełny. Ale ile razy byliśmy w Grecji, zawsze dostajemy darmowy upgrade w każdym hotelu, więc jest to powszechna rzecz. Wille są duże, widok na morze jest doskonały z każdego, baseny podobno są w każdym. Śniadania są płatne w menu, bardzo smaczne, wybór jest duży i nie ogranicza się do pozycji. Od złych: hotel jest wyraźnie zmęczony. Podłoga skrzypi, jacuzzi jest zużyte itp. Koszty życia są dobre, ale pieniądze zarabia się tu na jedzeniu: ceny w restauracjach są po prostu bezbożne, mimo że jakość i prezentacja potraw jest bardzo sobie. Uwaga na „greckie wieczory”, gdzie za 80 euro od osoby (!!!) przyniosą garść przekąsek o bardzo wątpliwym wyglądzie i smaku. Za kawałek rzekomo świeżego okonia morskiego bądź gotów zapłacić 50 euro. I wszystko w tym stylu. Jedyną naprawdę fajną restauracją jest "Old Mile" w sąsiednim hotelu, otwarta 2-3 razy w tygodniu, zarezerwuj wcześniej! O 7 rano nie słychać szumu fal, ustępując miejsca kolejnemu hałasowi: traktor zaczyna kosić pole golfowe! Od 7 rano! Czemu??? Wreszcie przy wyjeździe dokładnie o 11:00, tak jak w tureckich hotelach, karty-klucze do pokoi zostaną zablokowane, a zamiast pożegnalnego prezentu (jak w „4 pory roku” na Cyprze i w wielu innych miejscach) zostaniesz bezczelnie zaproponował danie dobrego napiwku... na recepcję pracowników! Aha, i jeszcze jedno: na Krecie na początku jesieni jest wietrznie. Wysoko. Ogólnie to wystarczy, ale na pewno się nie cofa.

The hotel and grounds were absolutely lovely! We had a room with our own pool and 2 floors - very luxurious! There were two private beaches on the property with a very relaxing beach bar with servers bringing your food and drink orders right to your beach chair. The only thing we didn't like was that you had to make reservations for dinners. We are more of a "go whenever we feel like it" couple, so didn't like the time constraints and lack of a more casual place to eat on property as the beach bar was not open for dinner. Hotel was situated near a lot of places to eat off property, but it was not walkable to get off property - had to call a taxi which the hotel was happy to help with. The staff was very polite and helpful. Very upscale and nice place!

Elounda Peninsula Resort is our all time favorite place to stay. This was our third trip to Crete since and our third time at this fabulous resort. Elounda Peninsula really strives to give their guests a wonderful experience and we see this by the many little extras and changes the resort has done over the years. Each time we visit we are amazed, and the next time we visit, we are even more amazed! We stayed in the two floor Peninsula Collection Suite which was luxurious, comfortable and perfect for us. We loved relaxing in our private pool while admiring the beautiful view. I must mention how very comfortable the bed and bedding were. We slept so well and woke up refreshed and ready for the day. Since our last stay two new restaurant venues were added along with menu changes in the existing ones. This along with fantastic room service made for many delicious dining options. There is plenty to do at the resort including sunning at the great beach or pool and swimming in the sea. Although we were a couple, we did notice lots for kids to do here as well. In addition my husband was able to enjoy the on site golf course twice! I enjoyed a massage and facial at Six Senses Spa. Truly a marvelous spa which gives an aura of relaxation from the minute you enter. The ginger tea afterwards is just one of the many little extras you will find at this resort. Above all though, it is the people here who make this resort the fantastic place it is. The cheerful greetings and good conversations give a personal touch that is very uniquely Elounda Peninsula. Not only the friendliness of all but the knowledge of the area and the willingness to help was so appreciated. I even appreciated those patiently listening and helping with my very rudimentary Greek. Elounda Peninsula truly showcases Cretan hospitality and Greek Philoxenia! We can’t wait to return in 2025!

From the mommy you step into the resort until your departure, it is one of the most incredible experiences. The resort is beautiful and first class all of the way. The suite was two floors with our own pool. We also ate at two of the restaurants; the Italian and Japanese, both outstanding meals.

This property resort like has everything you need and it’s the best location , impeccable customer service and best seven star hotel in Elounda Crete . I’m super particular n picky. rooms are beautiful w private pool 2 bathrooms two balcony choose your pillow coffee tea . They upgraded us and set up romantic theme w champagne for our Anniversary two The Spa was wow ! Massage was Amazing!!Def checkout Agios Nickolas n plaka . We can’t wait to visit again! If you've never been to Crete, the Elounda Peninsula Resort & Spa alone is reason enough to visit. Every staff member, from Stavros and Panos to Klesei, Maria, Jason, Stravola, Alexandros, Nikolas, Giorgios, and Vasia, exuded the kind of warmth and professionalism that turns a stay into an unforgettable experience. The spa is a Six Senses-branded oasis that elevates wellness to an art form. With top-notch therapists and outstanding amenities, it's a sanctuary for both body and soul that stands head and shoulders above most spa experiences. When it comes to dining, every restaurant on the property is a culinary gem. I had the pleasure of visiting during the opening week of their newest addition, SUMOSAN. Tucked away in a quiet alcove of the hotel, this Japanese restaurant offers not just incredible food but an intimate and serene atmosphere as well. However, the crown jewel has to be IL BORRO TUSCAN BISTRO, owned by the world-renowned Ferragamo family. Their truffle pizza alone could easily claim the title of the best in the world. The revamped pool area is another highlight, its seamless landscaping transforming it into a genuine escape. Elies restaurant comes alive at night and is an experience not to be missed—just make sure to pre-order the lobster for the freshest dining experience. Even room service maintains the high culinary standards set by the restaurants, although I would advise against the poke bowls at the pool bar (however the Smoothies are amazing). What sets Elounda Peninsula Resort & Spa apart is its sense of community. Spread across multiple properties, you never feel isolated but always secure and well-taken care of. Whether you opt for a leisurely walk along the gorgeous grounds or a quick golf cart ride, you're always just a moment away from another delightful experience. I sincerely hope this resort gains affiliation with a larger global chain brand or even becomes a Six Senses property in its own right. It deserves a spot on the World's Top Luxury Hotels list without question. It's easily the best hotel in Crete, a top contender in Europe, and outstanding on a global scale. Our stay at Elounda peninsula was absolutely magnificent. The moment we arrived the staff greeted us with the warm Cretan hospitality. The private beach and water sports created the the ultimate experience for our family. The rooms, restaurants, and amenities were five star. The service provided by the entire staff was impeccable and couldn't wait to see Panagioti and Maria each day. We wish we could've taken them home with us! I recommend this resort to anyone who wants a romantic getaway or quality time with your family. The best!

beautiful, quiet location just outside the fishing village of Elounda with a private beach, fantastic attentive staff that cater to your every need. Our room was so beautifully furnished with amazing finishes and the most wonderful view of the sea and their gorgeous resident ship swaying in the wind. Our own private pool was a bonus for me and the water sports were a hit with my husband and son. The food at the pool/beach were not my favorite but we eat at the Yacht restaurant and the Italian restaurant and they were excellent. A special mention for the lovely host Evdokia (Evi) and to Giorgos at the front desk, so kind and committed to great customer service.
