Naxos Island Hotel

I want to start with the pros; the staff was very nice, especially the young lady at the reception desk. She ordered us cabs & helped us get a rental ATV which we really appreciated! The breakfast was a standard spread but good, and they make you eggs and coffee to order, which were also pretty good! Lastly, It is a 2 minute walk to Agios Prokopios beach, very very close and the beach itself is very nice. With that being said let’s go over the cons. This hotel claims to be 4+ star, which I just don’t agree with. I’d give this a hotel 3 stars if I was being really generous but honestly 2 stars is more accurate. “Spa” and “Gym” area were under construction and unusable. Bed is very uncomfortable with no comforter just two small “blankets” closer to a sheet thickness than a blanket. One night our AC wouldn’t work (seemingly for no reason, all the windows were shut and it just stopped working), so we opened them window but were then eaten up by mosquitoes. Obviously not the hotels fault for the mosquitoes but there is no reason they ac should randomly stop working in the middle of the night. Shower and amenities are subpar, the entire hotel honestly reminded me of a best western. Bidet on toilet but wasn’t hooked up. No ironing board or hair dryer. Shower setup is weird, it is designed horribly and just uncomfortable to stand in. Water takes minutes to heat up, and even one morning there was almost no water pressure at all. They had maid service everyday but somehow it always still felt dirty in the room, specifically the floors. TV is a tiny little rinky dinker with barely any working channels. They don’t provide water after your first day & if you buy it from their bar it’s $4 a bottle. Not a big deal but we stayed at other hotels & airbnb’s and this was the only place that didn’t provide at least 1 bottle a day. I would again like to reiterate the staff was SUPER nice!! But it is advertised as a 4+ star hotel and it just isn’t. For the price you pay (we paid $300 a night), i’d highly recommend staying somewhere else. We had originally booked 4 nights and ended up leaving a day early. We got an airbnb and it was much nicer.

Large, lovely, clean rooms with a sea view. A welcome drink on the rooftop with excellent customer service. The staff were very kind and accommodating with recommendations for restaurants in the area as well as their own rooftop restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious fresh sea brim with an amazing Greek salad with drinks followed by the traditional complimentary dessert while enjoying the night lights in the distant village. Highly recommend!

The location was excellent. The condition and cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great stay. And the rooftop restaurant offers the best views! Just steps from everything you need: supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and the beach is at the corner. It does NOT get more-convenient than this. Why travel all the way to the port for sunset - enjoy it with a cocktail or dinner on the rooftop!

The Naxos Island Hotel is a comfortable hotel in a nice area of Agios Prokopios. The room was a nice size with a large bathroom and a nice balcony. It has a rooftop pool with a nice view of the sea. Breakfast is also served on the rooftop. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were all helpful and knowledgeable. It is a very short walk to the beach and you can get a set of lounge chairs and umbrella for spending a minimum of $20 at the restaurant (can't remember the name). Normally, you have to pay at least $20 for the chairs and umbrella. The beach in the area is very nice. Also fairly long so you can take a nice walk along the beach. There are many good restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

This hotel was good for our stay in Naxos. It has a great location next to the beach. The staff are great and make sure you are taken care of. The rooms are good size and well appointed. Only negatives we had were the mattress was too firm for our taste. We thought some odd choices were made to seem fancy such as electronic adjustable bed and a bidet toilet, but we would forego those things for a softer mattress and linen. Overall it is a great place to stay and we would stay there again if we went to Naxos.

The hotel is OK, nothing special, we didn't find it outstanding, and expensive for the quality. Not sure how they get the 5 stars they advertise The rooms have everything you need, and are adequate. The staff are lovely and try very hard, they're pleasant and are very helpful. The pool is small and water temp is very cold and past refreshing, the picture is very deceiving, with only 6 beds. The breakfast is ok, but staff are smoking in the kitchen while guests are eating, ugh! The location is good and very convenient with shops and restaurants near by.

Lovely hotel near to the best beach in Naxos- Agios Prokopios. We had 2 double adjoining rooms for our family of 4 (2 teenagers). The staff were amazing- wouldn’t do enough to help! The breakfast guy (sorry forgot his name) was so helpful and kind. And the girls on reception were so helpful and friendly. 2 minutes walk to the beach, which was beautiful. Be warned- Sun loungers a bit pricey. (25-50 euros per set). Brilliant restaurants, with amazing taverna across the road- worth the wait. Do go to Naxos town though too- we much preferred it to both Oia and Mykonos town as great nightlife but nowhere near as crowded! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it describes itself as “boutique”. To warrant that description I would say it needs a slight renovation and eg. more luxury bath products etc.

We stay here for 3 nights. Room clean. Kind reception. Welcome drink. Breakfast very good. Amazing swimming pool. Perfect roof view. Sea side is 2 min walk. But I will not give 5 stars. Sorry. Price is too much I think. Thanks Srafanos, Antonia, Ioanna great team.

We stayed 4 nights at the Naxos island hotel in early June. The customer service here was excellent. All staff were attentive and the hotel was extremely clean. The breakfast daily is served by the pool with eggs cooked to order and a simple elegant selection of fresh fruits, cheeses and breads. We had a room with a patio jacuzzi. They are on the bottom level with no view but a cute little patio. Was very private we felt and used the hot tub nightly. The room was extremely clean the two issues we had were the beds were very uncomfortable and the linens were scratchy making sleeping difficult. Secondly the bathroom is dated and has a bit of a musty smell. The hotel is ideally located 1 minute walk to beach surrounded by the best little tavernas and cafes. It has free parking which we utilized for our rental that the front desk setup for us. We loved Naxos and were very happy with our choice. We would stay here again but I’m a regular room with a view.
