Hôtel Saint Louis

Located in the midst of the city, a charming hideaway with inner courtyard where breakfast and diner can be enjoyed far from the summer crowd. The restaurant adds to the quality of the spot. A real find! And free parking outside the city walls, but quite close to the hotel. A real find!

We stayed at Saint-Louis for 4 nights and it has been a real pleasure. Staff's members and owners are professional, but also friendly and caring. They helped us in all our needs with suggestions and attention making us feel at home. The hotel is amazing and also our room was simple but perfect. It is a romantic location which refelcts the charm of Aigues-Mortes. We really hope to return one day and we recommend this hotel for sure!

Conveniently located in the heart of the walled town, just a few metres from the lively square full of bars and restaurants, the Saint-Louis has old-school charm and helpful, friendly staff. It's quiet at night, and there's a very pleasant, shady courtyard garden in which to relax or eat breakfast. Our room was a 'superieure' - not that large but very clean with a modern en suite (with great shower!) and plenty of hanging space. The bed was huge - king-size and comfy, with nice linen and lots of pillows. Air con system could have been more up-to-date and controllable but it did the job. Buffet breakfast is definitely worth the supplement - lots of choice including different cold meats and cheeses, cereals, fruit, freshly squeezed juice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would readily book again. We got a special direct booking rate; three nights with breakfast and taxe de sejour came in at 450 euros. One small down-side: the centre of this medieval town is pedestrianised (and all the better for it...) so you have to lug cases to and from your car, parked in one of the public car parks outside the walls. However the management reserves a number of car park passes for guests, so parking is free. A small point but worth bearing in mind if frail or with mobility issues.

A very old building renovated with care. Comfortable beds and very quiet at night as in a side street. The owners and staff are charming and helpful. A very good copious continental breakfast on the courtyard garden! Thoroughly recommended.

Nicely tucked away, just off the main square, so calm but close to everything. Clean and airy room. Really friendly and helpful reception staff. The restaurant was fine, but I would go out to eat next time. Breakfast in the garden was a delight.

Hotel is nice and staff too. In the night there was smell from the street. The Room door was not soundproof. We heard the reception in the morning very well in our room. Except from that, all was fine and clean.
