Good to stay here - professional and friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness, great location in a historical town. It is located at a 3-minute taxi ride away from the historical Safranbolu bazaar. Everything you would expect from a Hilton family hotel. They know how to make their guests comfortable and happy. We would certainly choose it again.

No comment to ambiance, that was captivating, Most particularly at night and when lights turns on of city, view was fascinating like a dream. In addition to above, we have to describe and indicate some issues about hotel as follows: We had read the reviews before we went to there, it is 5 rated as it is seen but: Of course there is no sound sealing amongst rooms, as if you are sitting together with other guests in your room Toilet and baths are all in one and quietly ancient but white and wooden accesories are disordered. Breakfast included but it might have been much more various menu. No need to stay more than 2 days beacuse you can easily finish the city tour and places to visit. Hospitality can be considered moderate, If you will only use there for bedding , i suggest you to look around for another place in case of price is suitable. I am thinking of the keeper does not consider improving disorder and improper things because of rated value and reviews. In my opinion, they should spend money in repairing and modifiying, for instance; glass made shower curtain was about to tripping over us because it needed to fasten up properly but not. Bath ( toilette) is smelling really bad but it seems unsolvable because it stems from city infrastructure besides deodorizer can be used at the bath at least. Also, since the small ventilation window in the bathroom is wooden and not fastened on the wall properly, it can easily left in your hand if you want to open it because the bath smells. One day toward the morning, room was getting cold, and water for bathing was cold then we noticed that gas boiler was out of service because of propably water leakage, then we informed keeper, later on they reoperated the gas boiler, the problem is not the gas boiler was out of service, the problem is they had already known the reason of the problem but they had not interfered before :) at least they confessed that. Such kind of problems are not so trivial to be ignored, these show the importance that the keeper attaches to the safety and comfort of customers. I hope those reviews would be considered and problems would be figured out , so we can consider staying over there for the next time.

There’s a lot of accommodation to choose from in Safranbolu, and the overall standard seems to be pretty high, so it took a while to decide which place to book for a two night stay. As it turned out, we chose well. Akbulut Konak was wonderful. I like staying in places that are run by the people who own them; even better when they have a history and have been lovingly restored. The father and son team are great hosts, and incredibly proud of their house. There are so many nice touches around the place. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was quirky and characterful. Not a great deal of storage space, and pretty hot/bright (lots of windows and no air con), but it was befitting of the surroundings.

Fatoş Hanım ve eşine çok teşekkür ederim. Bizi bir aile ortamında misafir ettiler. Herşey o kadar iyiydi ki... Kahvaltı mükemmel, odalar zevkle dizayn edilmiş, tertemiz, ufak tefek nüanslarla yaşanmışlık havası katılmış. Akşam sıcak çay eşliğinde tüm misafirler ile yapılan o sıcacık sohbeti hiç unutlayacağım. Bahçede ve evin içinde Fatoş Hanım'ın zekice düşünüp tasarladığı oblejeleri tek tek incelemek insanın bir gününü alabilir. Bir daha herşey için onlara teşekkür ediyoruz. Bundan sonra ne zaman kafa dinlemek istesem tercih edeceğim tek işletme olacak. Bizim için harika bir deneyim oldu.

We live in the room on the rightmost side of the second picture. It is the scenery room I like. This room has the best sunshine and scenery, but the bathroom is outside, which is the leftmost position in the second picture. There is a room separated in the middle, and that room has its own toilet in the room. The advantage of this room is beautiful, the disadvantage is to go to the toilet. In addition, as I observed, there is no air conditioning in the room, and a heater is placed in the cabinet. So it should be considered carefully in the hot or cold season. As far as this homestay is concerned, the operator is a family of three, the male owner is responsible for communication, and the hostess is responsible for cooking. We stayed for two nights and the hostess told us that the next day's breakfast was 9 o'clock. She may be shy? ? The host does not speak English, and even the bread bread does not understand, but he will use the mobile phone to translate the app very actively to communicate with us. The breakfast was very good. Although there was no meat, it could be seen that the boss and his wife had spent a lot of thought on it, with pictures as evidence. The delicious breakfast here has more or less appeased my angry experience (referred below). The overall family atmosphere, the news broadcast will be broadcast during breakfast in the morning, and we will come back in the evening to see their family of three eating and show the cartoons to their five-year-old son. The downside was that something had nothing to do with accommodation: the boss recommended us on our first day of arrival to see the glass platforms and caves on the nearby mountains, and called the taxi driver who knew him. But the owner refused to tell us the price, and asked the driver to tell us that the driver drove out a long way to say the price. It was about the 2-hour package price of 1,000 lira fare (no watch). But the first attraction was not opened due to the power outage, and we stayed for 10 minutes for the second attraction. From getting in a taxi to getting out of the taxi, it took less than an hour, and the driver finally insisted on receiving 1,000 liras. Later, when I returned to the hotel, I told the boss about this. He also checked with the driver that these things did happen. He said that the driver received a high price. The local travel agency included a car guide meal and it was only 60 euros. He could not let his tenants be treated like this. I will definitely tell the driver that this thing will be given to me again. A reply, but he didn't mention this until the moment of check-out, I don't know what a blend between them.

We stayed as a family of 4 people. We thought that the Cedir was enough for children but it was enough. A hotel in the center. We visited Safranbolu center without ever taking the car out of the hotel. I was surprised that there was no sweaters in the hotel. No TV rooms. But TV is in common area. It's hard to go by car on historic roads. At first we found the hotel difficult, then we went hard because historical roads are stone and tight.
