第二次去了，太美了，酒店旁邊就是樂園，有各種通道可以過去。酒店本身就很好玩，全包酒店，有很多餐廳。唯一缺點就是那個位置風浪有點大，酒店有個浮潛很好的位置，但是要看運氣。設施很好，從機場過去基本200比索一個人。

grounds were nicely kept and loved the animals roaming free that you could watch. we had cold showers 3 out 4 days and complained but nothing was done. after 3rd day offered a new room on back side of property so didnt use and finally got hot water that day. could have more varieties for food

Best holiday we have ever been on! Friendly staff choice of a beach day or pool day or both. Many bars dotted around so you can make use of the all inclusive. Buffet food had options for everyone. So much to do. The monkeys roaming around were the best entertainment. You can't walk to local shops well I think it's 2hrs. 400 pesos each way to get to the nearest town which is playa de Carmen. You have you tourist places bars shops nightclubs. There is a very small nightclub at the hotel which suited us as could stumble back to the room. Overall staff are very friendly abit pushy with wanting you to attend a time share presentation for discounts on the park. Which I just booked through ******* and used my points. The park access is a 2 min walk along the canal they have in the lobby area or if you like the novelty you can wait for the little boat to take you. Takes alot longer but is fun. They have on site shops where we bought some souvenirs. If you like tea bring your own tea bags because anyway fooryou will miss a good cup of tea :p overall brilliant stay has something for everyone and we would love to go and stay again :)

Wonderful grounds, pools and beach. Loved the animal encounters too! Great location to explore Xcaret too. Loved every minute there.

The Occidental at Xcaret Destination is a spacious property with great pools, wonderful lagoon and beach area, all situated in a tropical setting. It is walking distance to Xcaret Park (I would highly recommend getting a weekly pass to the park) and a short taxi drive to other parks (Xplor, Xenses, etc.). The foliage at the property is wonderful and the encounters with the local wildlife makes for a memorable trip always. The monkeys, iguanas, deer, birds and other wildlife are ever-present and encounters are always enjoyable. We've visited the past 2 years around before/after X-mas and loved every minute. See you next X-mas!

This hotel is old room condition is really poor and smells horrible, 1 day we got back to the room from the xenotes and there wasn’t hot water, my wife literally cried taking the shower, the food is the worst I probably had in my life, last 2 days we did eat there,( drinks are ok ) maybe a good place for some else but no for me, never again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was good and easy to make reservations, the property was beautiful and very well laid out with easy access to Xcaret park. Highly recommend for both adults and families. We hope to come back soon!
