Dunes Inn Alamosa

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the little cafe next door - all items cooked to order and very good. Hotel is right on the main street in the center of town, so close proximity to restaurants.

What a pleasant experience, Clean, Quiet, Updated and the Cafe next door is where your free breakfast is eaten and it was great. Thank you Dunes I will stay with you again.

Some sort of weird banging noises at 3 in the morning from a ac or heating unit. Not call back to my room or on my cell to resolve this terrible issue. Never stay there again.

The lobby and room were exceptionally clean. I stay in motel’s frequently and this one is above average on all categories. Highly recommended.

This 50's era motel is spotless, comfortable, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast options at the adjoining café are delicious.

I didn’t like that when my sister went to the restaurant associated with it that she couldn’t get a cup of coffee without the food pass the front desk gave me. The passes were for eggs, meat and toast to be included with the stay. I specifically asked if we could order different things (and pay for them) off the menu and if guests could come order a meal ( and pay for it) and was told they could, so when my sister was told she basically couldn’t come in without the pass, she was upset and so was I. Needless to say, we ate at other restaurants. But the thing that really ticked me off is I got my reservations on ******* for $104 before taxes, but the motel was advertising rooms for $84 but I was stuck paying $120 a night for rooms that were older and though it had supposedly been remodeled, the plumbing fixtures looked dirty enough that I went and bought comet to reclean the tub and sinks. I chose it for the location, close to Cole Park and downtown where Halloween events were being held, but I’m going to keep looking for a place to stay on my monthly visits to the area.

A classic motel with brick walls and gabled ceilings. Room was nice and cozy. The free sit-down breakfast at the cafe was nice, but the biscuits and gravy had no meat in the gravy, so I would suggest ordering a meat item. There are also great options for dining nearby. Really enjoyed my stay.

The room was clean, the service was friendly, the location was great, and the free breakfast nextdoor had amazing food! The only two things that were downsides were the wifi was choppy so I wouldn't recommend working. The other downside was the temperature of the shower changed frequently and widely. I assumed it was because other people in the building were taking showers as well and that was affecting the shower in our room. We stayed one night so these two cons were not a big deal. Overall for the price, it was great.

Neat, clean room but extremely noisy. Could hear persons in room above chatting and almost completely listen in on their conversation, metal staircase also gave a decent amount of noise when someone traversed it. Staff was friendly and breakfast (in cafe next door, provided complimentary with room) was good.
