Hotel Maritur - Adults Only

Very pleasant stay with no issues! Hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the marina which was nice. Hotel nice and quiet. Breakfast was fine, cooked items made at time of order so its fresh. Nice selection of pastries and breads. Rooms are dated but are clean and tidy. Tv screens are tiny and hard to see from the other end of the room. Staff all friendly and welcoming. I'd stay here again!

For the record the shower works perfectly and adjusts temperature with no drama !Never saw one fly in the restaurant or any rats so possible vindictive review .At breakfast we were offered multiple eggs and sausages so I can dispel that myth .Breakfast was lovely with good selections of healthy fruit and traditional continental breakfast plus cooked if desired. Rooms well proportioned and balcony massive with a lovely sea view .Yes the hotel is an ex best western and is dated but did not detract at all from a peaceful quiet comfortable holiday .Not for young people as previously stated and far enough out Albuferia for minimal noise .Guys across the road nearly finished the villa so only laying paving slabs with minimal noise .The area is quite upmarket and we tried 2 local restaurants and the food was great .All in all a relaxing holiday and would recommend and take some of negative reviews with a pinch of salt

Firstly this is not what you would expect of a four star hotel, it appears very dated and in need of some TLC. However, we loved our stay here. It was clean, the staff were all really nice and it had everything you would want for your holiday in Albufeira. Food was good with lots of breakfast options, bar close to the pool and no rush for a sun bed! A short walk to the beach and a short Uber ride to the marina or Old Town. We had a sea view balcony room and the aircon was fantastic! Just odd having a kettle and no tea/coffee provided.

This was a nice clean hotel with friendly staff. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags in a secure area before it was time to check in The beach is a short walk away down the hill, scouting it out we found it was made up of a few coves some busier than others so worth having a look around. There is a mini mart on site at the hotel with the essentials, although it would have been nice to have some tea/coffee/water provided as part of the room rate to go with the kettle that's there Room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom, the room we were in was much bigger than it looked on the photos so they can vary a lot I think. Some reviews mention the shower was cold, it took some adjustment to get it right but it was anything but cold on the hot side A safe is available for a €10 deposit which we got back at the end when returning the key Pool was quiet and clean Breakfast is a selection of fruit, cereals and pastries, hot drinks and juices. There is the option to have some cooked items ordered fresh which you queue up for so this can take a while We ate once in the hotel restaurant on the first night, we both enjoyed our meals and thought it was both nice food and good value for what you got, contrary to some other reviews. The only real negative was the fridge in the hotel room, it was very loud and turned on and off throughout the night which woke us up at times. We didn't complain about it so can't complain too much now as perhaps they would have fixed it if we had. In summary, a nice quiet hotel with good furnishings and facilities. It's a bit out of town but that's what we wanted, there's still options around to eat (good Italian just 10 minutes walk away). And taxis into the busy areas are only about €5 on Bolt and Uber easily available

Really lovely hotel, helpful staff, great breakfast, good choice for vegetarians. Nice pool bar, a little walk from the port but it was easy to get an uber. The pizzas from the restaurant are great.

Sadly not what was advertised but ….. First of all I read a review about Rats and Flys which made me try to cancel my stay I did not witness anything like that and that review should not be taken as a deciding factor but everyone has a different experience. So to my experience On arrival room was not ready and we were directed to the bar restaurant to wait. The restaurant was clean and staff friendly and our lunch was grand although a tad over priced Into the room now It was clean although a tad dated and same can be said about the bathroom although clean The issue in the bathroom is the plastic shower head and the totally out of control water temperature which goes from scalding to freezing constantly and only Two towels each Bed and pillows comfortable and air-con and WiFi reasonable although there only seems to be one maid to make up rooms which is extremely slow Breakfast was also ok but not a lot of choice in fruit and cold meats but you get enough to do. However lack of staff and if you want a cooked breakfast it’s one of everything for example one sausage one egg etc ! And one over worked member of staff trying to prepare on a tiny hot plate behind a window Pool area was clean but beds are old and tacky needing renewed pool also freezing regardless of air temp also grass areas need better maintenance and a little back ground music would be good There is a spa area with pool and jacuzzi but this appeared closed Hotel quite at night it’s not a UK 4* I would say 3 at best but clean and comfortable and for adults only it’s acceptable Final thought ok for a week and for adults only peaceful during nighttime hours so at least you get too sleep

This adult only hotel is a little gem. It's not a huge hotel but excellent facilities and wonderful staff. The room was spotlessly clean. The views were beautiful and relaxing. A short walk to the marina with both the Old Town and The ***** just a taxi ride away. If I could improve one thing, it would have more comfortable chairs on the balcony, which was huge but was hardly used as the wooden chairs were uncomfortable.

We picked this hotel as we did want to be a little out the way, and it was adult only. The four stars also were a factor. We had a balcony room with a side sea view and was lovely and quiet. The room was big and clean. We had to figure out how to turn the fridge on as it had been turned off, and the air conditioning wasn't the best, but it was pleasant. The pool was lovely. Lots of sunbeds and shade when needed. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely. Was going to use Uber, but a guest advised me to download BOLT and had 50% off fares for 24hrs. Going up to the *****, the old town, and the Marina only cost a few euros and easily available. If you're young and wanting to party, then this isn't the hotel for you. The youngster's that were staying at the same time as us were asked not to pay their music poolside and reprimanded for coming back late drunk and done so publicly poolside. If you're looking for a no frills, cheap cocktail in hand poolside, lazy base then this hotel is perfect. Certainly not 4 stars, but has some groovy vibes.

It didn't feel like a 4 Star Hotel. It wasn't too bad and bed was comfy with moderate size room, but the hotel is outdated I needs some refurbishment. Breakfast was not too bad, but you would use a bar or the swimming pool there. Hotel is located few miles away from Albufeira in there quite town which was what we wanted.
