Just come back from a 2 week stay at hotel More Alcudia, I don't have a bad word to say about it, hotel clean, staff very friendly and helpful, food was really nice with plenty of choice, lovely pools, entertainment every other night. Location was very picturesque. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to old town. Would have been more than happy to have stayed longer, will definitely go back there. Would have be useful if there was a shop nearby but not a necessity.

We just went as a big family holiday for my daughters 6th birthday. The food was horrendous!! Always luke warm or cold and the evening food was just inedible we had to eat out most evenings after going to look to see what was being served. The room was ok we had a roof room with sea view but the walls are paper thin so it was always very noisy. We noticed quite a few bar staff with rather rude and especially a middle aged woman on reception so very rude. I asked 3 days in a row for an extra pillow in our room and 3 days in a row we never received one. The swimming pool was freezing cold so my children could not go in. I even tried to go in and it would make you very ill trying to stay and swim in it. It is not a child friendly pool as it is extremely deep. We stayed to watch entertainment in the evening and noticed straight away that the live music was being mimed. And the drink prices were so high. My husband got a drink from the drink machine in the hotel and was then told in the restaurant he was not allowed to drink it in there even though it was still purchased at the hotel, only drinks from the bar and restaurant were allowed to be drank. They do not serve tap water either you have to pay €2.60 if you just want to drink water. The pool table is €1.50 a game. It is only usually 50p a game at home. One day the lift was broken and as we were on the top floor we kept trying the lift thinking people might of been getting on at other floors but nope. We had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to see an out of order sign on the lift. They couldn’t be bothered to go to the top floor to put an out of order sign out. Had high hopes for this hotel with some people giving it 5 stars. All I can say is that those people must have very low standards. We will never be going there again.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at hotel more and I can say I am so glad to be back home, our room was ok we paid extra do we could have a third floor room so hopefully it would be quietier but Emm nope, I think people just love to slam doors when on holiday, next the food that’s if you could call it food the breakfast were the same every morning and not very warm, the area where the food is served is very narrow so people are always knocking each other, the evening food was terrible most was inedible and not cooked enough there was not enough choice and we ate out Most evening, I honestly cannot understand how people keep going back year after year because that’s one place I will never go again, also there are steps up to the reception area which is not illustrated in the brochure, drinks in the bar are also very expensive

Stayed at more hotel last week the view from hotel is beautiful but there's where it ends. The walls are paper thin in this hotel you could hear the people coughing so noisey. Thus hotel is situated in a residential area with the nearest shop 15 to 20 minutes walk there is nothing around this hotel. The old town is beautiful but the walk back to hotel at night time was not safe very isolated walk. Would never stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel with my partner from 5th September to 8th September. The rooms here are very very basic, no fridge or kettle etc. Absolutely no amenities in the room, there were signs at the hotel telling customers they are not allowed to take outside food or drinks to the hotel which meant you were tied to having to travel for shops and food as this hotel has no local amenities around it, it is a quiet peaceful hotel and the pool area is lovely, I wouldn’t mind how secluded it is if we had the amenities to cater for ourselves in the room through the day and just travel out for a meal once a day in the evening, but no you can’t even have a drink in the room with you in case you need it in the night, I didn’t have a pleasant stay here as it was stressful having to travel 3 times a day just to eat as it is quite expensive in the the hotel for food and drinks, we also got the impression the hotel don’t like anyone that isn’t and older person as the staff did tend to make more of an effort with the older guests, I have read the other bad reviews and know that the hotel will probably just respond with a very defensive comment as they only take on board the good reviews they seem to not care about the fact there are people with the same issues with this place because they just take on board the good reviews and think that just sums up the place.

We just got back from this lovely hotel beautiful views right on the beach . Staff are wounderful food is fabulous so much to choose 10 min walk to old town which is stunning. We stayed 16 nights and every think was amazing will definitely go back . A big thank you to all the staff and manager.

We stayed in the Hotel More for 2 weeks in August 2024.Me & my wife both in our 50's & British so not quite dead yet & do like a good time while on holiday usually including alcohol & entertainment.The hotel is lovely & clean & we found the staff very friendly if you are friendly towards them with please & thankyou which everyone deserves.First thing to mention is we paid extra on booking for a sea view & it's well worth it as internal rooms just overlook the inner courtyard & 2nd pool which although pleasant enough & quiet isn't a patch on the sea view.The sea is quite shallow but rocky under foot unless you walk round the bay to the small beach.we read reviews about the food as we were half board with some reviews not good.Breakfast buffet style with bacon,eggs,sausage,ect ect.plenty of choice of continental with hams & cheeses plus cereals & toast so can't fault it.evening meal we actually really enjoyed it as there's a good variety of food to try including meats,fish,paella ect.there was always chips & chicken nuggets or similar for kids which we did see some adults eating probably why some negative reviews previously regards evening meal.its not the hotels fault if you only eat junk food something to note when reading other reviews.The variety of food including paella were gorgeous but can get a bit monotonous if like us youre used to eating out but it is nice.The hotels location is lovely right on the sea front with plenty of sea front & pool free sunbeds.one thing to mention which we missed was no kettle in the rooms to make tea/coffee but you can rent one from reception at €15 per week but you can buy one for €24 in the old town.The issue is the hotels location there is literally nothing close by not even a shop.The old town is about a 15 minutes walk but although lovely apart from a few shops,cafes & restaurants there's nothing there.if like us you like a bar with a bit of entertainment even music you are out of luck which is such a shame as I say the hotel is really nice.there is 1 bar/restaurant the "Red Rum" which is literally 5 minutes walk & right on the sea front.its advertised everywhere as a British bar but we later found out it used to be but not now its Spanish run.we visited on our third day but after seeing a rat run off the beach,inbetween customers tables & into the kitchen we left just having drinks & never returned.Once we found our bearings we found the best thing to do was walk to the port which is about 45 minutes where it is lively with plenty of shops,bars & restaurants with a beautiful beach & marina.we usually walked there then got a taxi back which is €10.The hotel will book you a taxi if you dont want to walk.you can walk to the old town then get on the 324 bus going to Can Picafort which is €2.50 each to the port.We also had a couple of days/nights out in Can Picafort that on the 324 bus is €4.50 each from the old town & are every 10 minutes.Can Picafort is more like it beautiful beach,lively bars,restaurants &

Just backed from MORE..Lovely Area, stunning scenery. 25 min walk to supermarket for Essentials (Booze &Water) As Expensive to buy at the More!! 45 min walk to Alcudia Port Great Breakfast, Evening meal Hitty Missy.. Food &!Drinks Expensive! 6 Euro for Chips! No fridge or kettle in the rooms.. a big miss for us. There’s a lovely bar a few minutes walk with stunning view called the Red Rum. Went there most days. Nice beach too although quite rocky to remember your shoes.
