Volsdalen Camping

We rented a small cabin for one night. It was clean and the staff was helpful. Bathrooms were clean as well. It was a cheap stay with a nice view. Location is alright, a 25 minute walk to the city centre or a short bus trip away. The area was quiet even though it was a lot of guests the night we stayed.

We were given bedding but no pillowcases. We were asked if we wanted towels and were only given 1 bath towel each. No wash clothes and no hand towels. We had a little kitchen, but were not given a towel for the kitchen. The pillow was horrible, very flat and lumpy. Site said blackout curtains, but they were just black curtains that light could shine through. Otherwise the location and cabin were good.

We stayed in a room with a small kitchen (fridge and hob) and separate bathroom with shower, which is good. Unfortunately, the room did not feel completely clean and the beds were uncomfortable and creaky. Presumably some moisture damage as well. A small upgrade probably wouldn't have been a bad idea. Due to an ongoing festival (which we did not attend) with a lot of noise in the area, we had to cancel our stay one night earlier than we had planned. We were reimbursed for this, as the landlord understood that it was difficult to offer a good night's sleep in those surroundings. We greatly appreciate this! Overall, I would say that we as adults may not be the right target group for this particular apar**ent, especially this weekend, but I understand that others think it might be ok for a night or three.

3 Tesla dedtination-ladere. Kun den i midten fungerte. Leiligheten var ikke godt lydisolert. Kunne høre naboer åpne og lukke ytterdør veldig høylytt. Irriterende sent på kveld. Renhold var tilsynelstende fint (luktet rent), men det lå en ølkork blant kjøkkenbestikk, en snus-pouch lå i vinduskarm, og gulvet var fullt av glitter (lignet på sminkeglitter), som festet seg lett til klær. Kun 1 TV-kanal med klart bilde. Utover det: behagelig opphold, bra utstyrt kjøkken, god kundeservice i resepsjonen, rolig og fint område. Rent sengetøy og rene håndklær.

Positives: kitchen in the room, good wifi. Negatives: poor rooms, uncomfortable beds, cold bathroom, hole in the door, you can hear your neighbors from other rooms, location on a busy road. If I am in Alesund I will look for another place to stay.

The standard was nothing but shocking. With no water and no toilet in the cabins you would expect high focus on cleaning and desinfecting, espescially during the Corona Pandemic. On the contrary, it was very poorly cleaned and we felt uncomfortable during the stay. Never again

Hebben hier 1 nacht gestaan en blijven zeker geen t****e, de camping nodigt hiervoor niet uit. Aardige jongeman aan de receptie , behulpzaam maar pas nadat zijn telefoontje met ( geen reservering) was afgelopen. Het sanitairblok in niet het nieuwste maar kan ermee door.

Stille og rolig plass. Rent og ryddig. Fine og rene servicebygg. Ekstra pluss at det var gratis lading av el-bil. Alt i alt et hyggelig opphold. Kommer gjerne tilbake.
