The hotel was rebuilt by hand-made olive oil shop a hundred years ago, retaining its original appearance. We traveled thousands of miles from Beijing, and the reception manager was very helpful and told us the scenic spots around us. The restaurant is also very good, the waiter is proficient in English, is the best restaurant we have ever eaten. I'm sure it'll be recommended to friends.

Amazing hotel with a pool and restaurant, with very friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean and makes you feel like you are on a dream holiday.

Beautiful updated hotel with attentive staff and good value dining. A kettle in the room would be beneficial. Close to old town, but if walking it would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. A very pleasant place to stay with excellent facilities.

Beautiful hotel, very nice room (with a four poster bed and vaulted ceiling!), modern bathroom with beautiful glass shower and excellent food, both breakfast and dinner, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I went to Hotel Tossal d'Alteato celebrate a wedding.They had the wedding sermony in the garden! Everything was perfect. Nice pool area, good food and nice and big rooms! The staff was very nice! only 15 min walk to the old town of Altea

I stayed at the Hotel Tossal for five nights in early May for a wedding that took place at the hotel. I can't say enough about the friendly and attentive service we received at the front desk and in the restaurant. The breakfast included with the room is extensive in its offerings and quite tasty. The room was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. The pool area and terrace dining are highlights of the hotel.

A beautiful Spanish hotel. Marvellous atmosphere throughout. The welcome from the gentleman on the first day and the advice about where to go was marvellous. The interaction with every member of staff was a delight. The location was brilliant as we could walk to the town in 10 minutes or walk to the beach in 15 minutes. The front rarely gets a mention but it is beautiful. There is not a bar that has silly prices, and we visited a few. Loved it and can’t wait to return.

A small hotel on the outskirt of Altea overlooking the mountains--10 minute walk up to town. They had parking which was a huge plus. The room was spotless & comfortable. The staff is very friendly, helpful & eager to please. The pool area was clean with a pleasant covered space for loungers. Very good option for a stay in Altea!
