We were looking to book two rooms for 4 nights. I had some questions about rooms so I contacted the hotel directly by email. I also requested a quote. Nello was very responsive and quoted me a rate (later to find out this was cash, they charge an additional 5% for credit card. No problem there, it was still before booking the rooms). Since the rate he quoted was not available on the website, he requested credit card info via email, to hold the rooms. Not the most secure way but I did it. My decision. After I sent the info, no response. I followed up, no response. A week later I get an email saying that he never received info. Strange because I received an email delivery notification. Anyway, I resend info and follow up. Next email I get is that the rooms are now €20 more a night. Why? They ran out of rooms at old price. Um, there are only 6 rooms and those I chose were the higher ones. The reviews are great but be ready for shenanigans. Dishonorable. We chose to stay elsewhere. Who knows what other games would have occurred had we chosen to stay. Be forewarned.
