Homewood Suites by Hilton Amarillo

The property was very nice however we were kept awake all night by someone walking above us. The floor creaked loudly with every step they took and apparently they never went to bed. Also the bathroom door barely clears the toilet making it a very tight space.

Front desk was on her game. Kind, polite and very respectful. If the price stays right I will continue to stay here community to my job in Kirkland, NM. until March, April.

Very nice hotel. A little older than some Homewood Suites, but breakfast was good and staff friendly.

Checking in late while traveling, front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. Beds were amazing, breakfast was the best as was staff during breakfast. Thank y'all for a wonderful stay!

Mostly good things for this property. Plenty of parking. Very friendly front desk staff. Hats off to the gentleman in charge of the buffet area. Very clean area. Good tasty food. This man obviously takes pride in doing his job and taking care of the hotel guests. The hotel is doing some renovations so areas of the second floor were hard to access. My room did not have a shower curtain for the tub area. The bed pillows were small and not comfortable. Finally there was a good bit of road noise from the nearby interstate. So some really good things and some things that I did not care for.

The staff was excellent. Rooms are very roomy and clean. If I’m ever back in Amarillo,this is my go to hotel. Thanks for everything guys.

Construction on second floor. Lobby elevator not available to the second floor. Counter person didn’t mention that when assigning my second floor room. After unloading the car at the lobby, was informed I need to use the west end elevator at the opposite end of the property. I should have been told all of this at check in and driver my car to the other end of the building to unload. My reserved room was deluxe studio suite, what got was a deluxe 1 bedroom suite. The entire layout was not what reserved. The wall and bedroom door cut the suite in half and makes it very tight instead of wide open.

Great and quite room. Breakfast made my morning, those biscuits were excellent and so was the gravy. Everything hot and fresh (unlike their neighbors next door gag!) The gentleman running the kitchen and very friendly and polite even took my dishes for me. Real plates not plastic plates. Love this place.

Overall, a great stay for an overnight on our way from AZ to MO. The front desk lady wasn’t that friendly and not knowledgeable about gluten-free options at breakfast, but the beds were comfortable for us since we like hard mattresses and the pillows were super comfy. Decent hot breakfast selections except for our Celiac daughter. It’s next door to a Jimmy Johns and if your celiac or gluten-free, a Red Robin both in the same parking lot. We would stay here again if traveling through Amarillo. And it’s just a 6min drive from Cadillac Ranch.
