Constance Tsarabanjina - All Inclusive

It has taken a couple of weeks to write this review since I do not even know where to begin & also because I want to keep this place to myself and not let anyone know it exists…Tsarabanjina was our best vacation thus far! It is heaven on earth thanks to the beautiful, luscious scenery and the amazing staff. Last year we stayed at another island with villas in the Maldives, but nothing comes close to Tsarabanjina. The corals and quality of stay are simply unmatched. We felt like the only guests on the island quite often during our stay on the 28-villa island. We enjoyed many great conversations with the staff while making our way around the island or at the bar around dinner time.   When we arrived, we were greeted by all of the lovely staff and provided with all the info that we needed. Upon the night of our arrival, there was a Malagasy-themed night with dancing and appetizers on the beach. The zebu and fish skewers on this night were tender and delicious. It was a great welcome.   We opted for a few extras/excursions to include the romantic lobster/seafood dinner on the hilltop, snorkeling, diving, and the trip to Nosy Komba to see the lemurs. Originally, we did not plan on diving since it seemed fairly intimidating to us as novice-intermediate snorkelers, however Giulio and Martina managed to convince us to give it a try and wow was it worth it..The corals were so full of life and the variety of ocean species was mind-blowing. Giulio and Nestor escorted us on the dive and managed to make us feel 100% comfortable..so much so that we already want to do it again. My wife also had a massage which was incredible and it was so relaxing that she fell asleep twice! The prices of the extras/excursions were extremely reasonable. I do not think you will find such great experiences for a better price elsewhere..   The food was amazing..from the breakfast and lunch buffets to the well-plated three-course dinner paired with a lengthy wine-list. There is something for everyone.   As we departed on our boat transfer to Nosy Be, we were the only couple that day so we had the boat to ourselves and most of the staff at the hotel made it out to wave goodbye to us from the beach. There may or may not have been some tears on our part due to the fact that we did not want to leave..   Once again, thank you to Elena (Lovely & warm personality), “Mr. Eric” (the host with the most), Martina, Gabriel (Good luck in the Seychelles), Issa & Hubert (Keep smiling and being funny), Maholiday (Keep making great drinks!), Giulio, Nestor, Gideon, the snorkel/boat guides, receptions, and many many more whose names I cannot remember. Additionally, thank you to those who worked in the shadows but did a fantastic job with the cuisine and keeping the entire island beautiful!   Our stay at Tsarabanjina will forever be remembered as one of the greatest times of our lives and we will 100% be back.

We have just returned from a most relaxing stay at Constance Tsarabanjina and would like to compliment Gabriel, Elena and the team for making our stay so enjoyable. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and always well serviced and stocked and the laid back but efficient approach makes relaxation guaranteed. The barefoot, sarong clad dress code that is encouraged just contributes to the atmosphere. Good food, great all inclusive wines and cocktails, pristine white beaches (which actually boast small complete shells),warm calm seas and glorious sunsets just completed the picture. The pleasant welcome and send off to a safe boat and transfer to a rather crazy airport at Nosy Be was most appreciated too. As for the diving, it was an absolute treat and being able to dive in a rash vest thanks to beautiful warm waters was welcomed! The dive team headed by Amir, Martina and Nestor with their professional, knowledgeable but fun ways ensured super relaxed diving and the incredible corals and abundant fish life were a joy to experience. We appreciated the very limited numbers allocated to each dive guide and enjoyed diving with each of them at different times. We we also loved watching the vibrant, vivacious Martina instruct a young guest and build her competence, confidence and a passion for diving in such a wonderful way. We have dived with many dive operations but were so impressed with the unpressured, pleasurable and safe diving experience offered by Blue Wave diving and would certainly recommend the operation for both experienced divers as well as for anyone who may want to learn. In all, a true island paradise for anyone wanting to escape the pressures of the world, a quick, easy and affordable flight from Johannesburg with AirLink and an understanding gained as to why one guest has returned as many times as 50! We shall certainly be back. P.S. For those who are wanting to see the lemurs and other Madagascan treasures, we would recommend planning to do this before coming to Tsarabanjina. Although the hotel offers tours of this kind, once you get to the island, you will not want to leave!

Our stay on Tsarabanjina was a perfect end to our Madascar adventure. After two weeks driving with our guide for 600 miles from Tulear, visiting every national park along the way, we were ready for some relaxation. Gabriel and every single one of his team were so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived until we sadly left. They really do make you feel like the most important people in their world. But I particularly wanted to thank Martina and Giuliio at the Blue Wave Diving centre. The island is just a 15-minute boat ride to the Four Brothers dive sites. These rocky outcrops are covered with corals, sponges and gorgonian sea fans, all in lovely condition, along with reef sharks, turtles, octopus, lots of anemone fish and brightly coloured nudibranchs. So something for everyone. The currents that bring nutrients for all that life can be a problem, but even diving on spring tides we always found somewhere slack. With no other dive boats visiting, we had the sites all to ourselves. I dived on all four Brothers with Giulio as my guide, pointing out things I would certainly never have found on my own. Martina took my wife who is much less experienced than me and hadn't dived for four year. But with Martina's patient support and encouragement she regained her confidence and the improvement in her diving by the second dive was amazing. Martina and Giulio's warmth and enthusiasm made this a very special experience for us that we will never forget.

I struggle to better all the recent wonderful reviews of this beautiful island. I agree 100% with all the comments. My husband and I stayed on North beach for 10 supremely beautiful days. Snorkelling was wonderful. At times, it was like swimming in an aquarium. Whilst there, we celebrated our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. We exchanged our vows in true Malagasy style. From the minute beautiful garlands were placed around our necks and on my head, we were treated like royalty. After the exchange of vows, we were taken to the catamaran be decked with flowers, and floated out into the sunset. Then we had an amazing sea food meal on the hill. To anyone celebrating a special anniversary, I highly recommend this lovely ceremony. Massive thanks to every single member of staff who contributed to our wonderful stay on this special island. I don’t have any complaints, just a couple of tips. Another toilet in the bar restaurant area would be extremely helpful. One just wasn’t enough. Wether permitting, it would be lovely to have more beach BBQs.

Fantastic Hidden Gem North of Madagascar! If you really want to relax for one week or 10 days this is the perfect spot. Lovely Rooms, stunning beaches, African elegance and simplicity. Great scuba diving and snorkeling, very good food and drink, good wines and alcohol and a very friendly staff who will always go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. The Diving school is very good and professional with good rental equipment. The hotel offers beautiful excursions. value for Money is very good.

4 nights on the fantastic Island the stay was too short at least 7 nights would have been ideal We were 3 adults and 3 kids We have enjoyed every single moment The team members on the island are truly extraordinary 🤩 We were lucky with the weather Food , Villa , activities all was perfect We must be back soon Thanks Gabriel and Elena Xxxx Virginie

Wow. Just wow! Absolutely faultless stay. Service was impeccable by Gabriel and his team. Friendly/ helpful but not over bearing. The island is stunning and exclusive. Beautifully maintained. Food was fresh and always with high quality ingredients. It took a little while for us to relax in to the swing of things ie limited WiFi (and none in the bar/ restaurant), set times for eating, etc but we adjusted quickly and had the most magical time. Various trips you can sign up for and diving onsite. Beach huts are immaculate and only several paces to your own slice of private beach. No shoes in the bar - simply the best rule! Fabulous cocktails. 30 mins from nosy be airport by car, followed by 1 hour boat. Note, boats cannot sail after 4pm due to maritime law. Also a helipad on the island.

We spent my birthday and Christmas in South Beach Villa. From the first to the last moment we were completely satisfied. Elena, Gabriel and the all staff were very friendly. We felt like at home. The small island is one big family. We both enjoyed meeting others and being alone on the beach. Delicious food and variety of wines - culinary experiences every day. Who does not like to be bored, the resort offers various activities. There is a program for every day from morning to evening. We recommend it to everyone who wants to experience heaven on earth, enjoy the sun, blue ocean, white beaches, relax, fantastic food, peace. Wonderful time. See you next time. ​

At Tsarabanjina we really felt like being in paradise. Everybody is so nice, the villas are very confortable, the food is excellent, the view is stunning and snorkeling is the best activity ever. We have enjoyed it all
