Amvrakia Hotel

I spent one night at this hotel in Amfilochia this summer, on my way to the Peloponnese. We chose it because it had good reviews and it was in a beautiful place. What a surprise when you arrive... They boast about having a "private parking" at the hotel... when in reality, it's an extremely small open lot at the back of the hotel that can fit only six cars. Upon arrival, we had to park our car in front of the hotel on a street with plenty of parking spaces. We went in to do the check-in and we were told that parking was prohibited because the park space in the street was only for customers of the hotel's restaurant and the nearby restaurants. It's a shame because you're on the public area, not in a private property or parking. The rooms are old, small, and the bathroom emits odors of pipes and dampness. The only positive aspect of our stay was the breakfast. It was very good and diverse (included in our pre-paid reservation). The surprise came at check-out, when the recepcionist told us that we had to pay the breakfast. I checked my reservation and tried to explain the man that it was included, but he rudely and impertinently refused to verify the reservation and made us to pay. After one month of complaints from me and ******* (the platform through which we booked the hotel), they still haven't refunded us the money. They are true thieves. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Lovely hotel, with clean rooms, with very clean and eagle restaurant. Their food is very tasty, neat, clean and they follow all the rules. Directly opposite the hotel there is a beach where you can swim. You go to the beach on foot and this is very important. I highly recommend it for family, but also for couples ...

Comfortable beds and great shower. They also have a restaurant downstairs that is delicious

Where do I start - horrible wi-fi that kept dropping and difficult to stream when working. Old property with bedding mattress that the springs could be felt, torn and nasty comforter, no sockets near the bed - begs for a renovation. On the plus side, nice view of the inlet from the room and able to walk to promenade with many restaurants. Not many choices off season so this might be the best.

Κατέβηκα στο εστιατόριο του ξενοδοχείου να φάω και μου φέρανε 2 καμένα μπιφτέκια μαύρα και πατάτες φούρνου λες και της είχαν πατήσει με τα πόδια ΑΊΣΧΟΣ. Αυτό δεν το σερβιρουν ούτε σε σκυλιά να το φανε

Es gab einige sehr negative Bewertungen. Trotzdem haben wir, da auf dem Weg nach Patras, dieses Hotel gebucht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Chefin war sehr zuvorkommend incl Ouzo. Der Hammer war das Essen direkt am Meer im hauseigenen Restaurant. Beste Suvlaki und Tzaziki meines Lebens.

Accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires. Bien que un peu petite, chambre et sanitaires très propres. Très belle vue sur la baie et les sommets enneigés d’Arta, vus du balcon de la chambre. Personnel sympathique et prévenant, très professionnel. Prix imbattables au niveau de la chambre et du petit déjeuner (avec petites touches de douceurs hellénistiques en plus, chambra, glycocoutaliou et salade grecque…).

Όταν πήγαμε στο δωμάτιο δεν υπήρχε τηλεκοντρόλ για το air-condition. Περιμέναμε αρκετή ώρα να το αντικαταστήσουν. Δεν είχαν αδειάσει το καλαθάκι του μπάνιου από τους προηγούμενους επισκέπτες. Σε γενικές γραμμές... χάλια μαύρα!
