Da Gelsomina

We are guests at the hotel and we just had our first dinner in the restaurant. From the hotel side, everything works perfectly, and the restaurant was an incredible experience. Service and food excellent, the view incredible. I recommend coming even just for the dinner, if possible.

We had an amazing lunch at Gelsomina. We enjoyed walking from Anacapri (slightly uphill on way there), but they do have a shuttle service that’s easy to use. The vibe was very welcoming—it’s family-owned, and it shows. We didn’t stay here overnight but would if we came again to Capri.

Top of the world view, superbly hosted by Pasquale and family. Lovely view of the sunset from the room ‘s terrace and restaurant. The food was fabulous, as was the assistance in sorting out the boat excursion. Useful shuttle down to the town which runs pretty much on demand. There is a lovely swimming pool with great views a short walk the other side of the restaurant. We will be back!

This is our favorite restaurant on the island! Family owned in four generations ! Pasquale and his family make your dining experience unforgettable! Food is simple but yet delicious! Views from the restaurant are amazing! Come around 7 pm to watch sunset. Get camera ready when you come to the restaurant. Driving to the restaurant is also unique-streets are very narrow. We were here twice this stay -hope to be back next year! Thank you Pasquale!

I liked this location, at the end of a quiet road…. And if you walk by 50 more meters you have two of the nicest belvedere’s of the island, because it’s simple and quite a few locals are present, and that is always a good sign. We had pasta (well done and slightly spicy, squid salad (nice and fresh) a bottle of berlucchi saten, and we paid the right price. One improvement that could be done is the order taking: only one member of the staff does it, and it’s certainly a bit slow…. But if you have walked twenty minutes to get here you certainly are not in a rush…. By the way they do offer a shuttle.

This place has one of the best views on the island. The sunset was fantastic as was the food and service. If you want a place away from the crowds, this is the place. We were there for dinner and the experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend Da Gelsomina for dinner.

Ristorante referenziatoci da altro ristoratore caprese, bella scoperta!! Cucina genuina a km zero. Immerso nel verde di un vigneto con una vista mozzafiato sul golfo di Napoli e a 50 metri da uno splendido belvedere sul faro di Punta Carena.

Wunderbare Unterkunft abseits vom Trubel! Schöne Zimmer mit toller privater Terasse, riesengroßer Pool, kostenloses Shuttleservice nach Anacapri...... Haben drei Mal im dazugehörigen ristorante gegessen - es war hervorragend und für Capri auch preislich super.

Lunch con amici conosciuto grazie ad una guida turistica dl posto si è rivelato vincente sotto tutti i punti di vista. qualità del cibo, preparazione, presentazione affabilità e disponibilità del personale tutto!. Bravi, grazie grazie molte.
