We were here in October, but it was very-very nice and good week. Kindly people and wonderful garden. Very good apartments. Delicious breakfast was in place. The sea is very near. We live in real greek (white-blue) houses. If you like to go for trip, a car rental would be useful. Makry Gialos is a very small village, but it is for our holiday and for rest.

We were there for almost 3 weeks. Great experience and location. The kids have appreciated the pool while we went to the sea in front. Chyrssoula was amazing and welcomed us each morning with a huge smile. Next to the hotel there are plenty of great and yummy tavernas as well as beautiful and clean (and almost empty!) beaches. M Super!

We had a small suite with a balcony overlooking the olive grove gardens. Very quiet. Well equipped. We could have cooked but didn't. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean suite, good bathroom, more than ample storage. Excellent breakfast selection. Nice pool and pool bar. Property only 300m from blue flag beach well supplied with sunbeds and sun shades (about €6 a day) . Villea Village is a great location as a base for exploring and for just chilling out.

We originally planned to stay 3 nights, then extended to 7, then 9 nights we just can’t seem to leave we love it that much. There is a stunning beach just across the road from the hotel, lots of supermarkets, restaurants and bars also. Rooms and grounds are spotlessly clean, pool is beautiful with sunny places and shady with beautiful olive trees. The lunch is delicious and pool bar is open until late with great drinks. The best part are the people the two Nickos& Kasoula are just lovely! We will be sad to leave but will be back!

Villea Village is like a second home to our entire family. It's a typically rustic but charming Cretan oasis. The staff are the most friendly and helpful and are there only to make your stay easy & relaxing. We have made many many visits over a number of years and are treated like family by everyone there. The apartments nestle around a tranquil olive grove adorned with hibiscus & bouganvillea from which it gets its name. The pool area is the most peaceful place with its own pool bar ran by Nikos & Chrisoula always eager to help you and care for you. There is a buffet breakfast available and the rooms which are fairly basic are spotlessly clean. The beach a few steps away is sandy & safe. The village has all you need for eating out & shopping for essentials whilst travel around Eastern Crete is a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this lovely place which after one visit will draw you back time after time

Great location by the sea. We stayed in a ground floor room, in the garden. The pool area is beautiful, with shade of olive trees. Buffet breakfast with great variety. Mrs. Chrysoula is very kind and friendly, willing to serve. We will definitely come again.

La chambre est défraîchie, le mobilier vieillissant, les sanitaires sont clairement à refaire notamment la baignoire.
