Hotel Aviation

I stayed at Hotel Aviation in Brussels for just 3.5 hours, and it was a complete disaster. **As a pregnant woman**, I was horrified to discover that I had been **bitten by bedbugs** during my short time there. This poses an **extreme health risk**, and the lack of responsibility from the hotel is appalling. The room was **filthy**, with stains on the floor and **wet marks everywhere**. The towels didn’t even look fresh, despite the receptionist running upstairs to check the room before my stay. The bathroom was a nightmare: it was **incredibly dirty**, the toilet wouldn’t flush, there was a **leaking ceiling**, stains on the sink, and the toilet paper was of the worst quality. This place is **unsafe and unacceptable**. If you care about your health, stay away from this hotel. **Completely irresponsible.**

This place is a tourist trap. The hotel was a complete nightmare. We booked for three nights but only stayed one (with no refunds), and they didn't even seem surprised. The room smelled like pee, and the shower and toilet were disgusting. The room was obviously not cleaned well, and the bed and sheets had a bad smell. The noise levels were unbearable ( we couldn’t sleep).The walls and doors were gross to touch ( see the photos). The area felt unsafe, and the room door didn’t even have a proper lock. To top it off, the photos on the Booking were completely misleading and did not represent the actual state of this awful hotel. Please please do not book this place.

Do not book this hotel. I made a reservation and when i arrived the room was definitely not clean: there were bugs and lots of body hair in my bed, there was a used towel on the floor, the ground was very very dirty. The mirrors were dirty and my room door was messed up. I did not feel safe. The phone in the room didn’t work. The elevator was in very bad conditions, there were cups with ketchup sauce on the floor and the mirror was broken. The access to the room was also very dirty. The staff was not nice. It was also very loud. After seeing these terrible conditions, I did not stay in this hotel and found myself a new one. I did not take pictures of the room because honestly I didn’t even think about it, I just wanted to get out of there.

The hotel smells a bit ashy. The man at the entrance is a very small and angry man that gives me the nasty eyes every time I come by. The room was dirty, table sticky with purple stains, when I first entered the room there was a plank in front of the door. The only thing the hotel has got going for it is it's location. Even the emergency is cheap and drawn by hand.

Serious need of redecorating and cleaning. The room we had was only half painted, shower door was broken and lights flickered constantly. The area around the hotel is very unsafe. Groups of youths hang around every corner and trouble lurks. Serious trouble. Avoid if you can.

The worst stay ever. The hotel staff unpleasant. One of the rooms that I booked did not have working lights when we arrived in the evening and the hotel staff basically said it was not his problem and could not help. The room did not have basic equipment as per description, no shelves, no hairdryer, no a simple chair or table, etc. While the hotel room was paid ahead with full room description, the hotel staff said I did not ask for the room furniture and equipment when doing check in. Basically, I was supposed to ask for bed with bedsheets, room furniture (shelves, table, chair...) and bathroom equipment. Never seen before! When we asked questions or for help, the hotel staff advised us to ask people on the street.

This must be rated. 0 out of 10 but I could only rate one point. Disgusting and dirty with the worst service ever. I am a travel blogger who has travelled more than 60 countries across the world. Bed sheet is so dirty so I asked for having it changed . They told me that their staff would have it replaced in 30-45 minutes. However, I waited around 2 hours and even asked to change the room. They ignored. When I went downstair to ask, they said staff knocked the door but no responses. Do not be a liar as I am in the room and sitting near the door. If you really did, I would have heard it. Avoid this hotel, can pay a little more to get something better. Leave this hotel for rats to stay would be much better.

The room was so dirty in general, for example: Bed sheets had stains on them No slippers for the bathroom The balcony wasn’t cleaned at all, we found cigarettes and men’s underwear The floor and the table were also dirty Wouldn’t absolutely recommend it

Upon arrival, we didn’t get a higher floor as we had requested and stated in our booking. When we entered the room, toilet was smelly and unpleasant sight of menstruation blood stained underneath the toilet bowl and underneath the toilet basin. We went to the reception counter and ask to change room but was rejected. Therefore we asked her to send the cleaner to clean, she said cleaner had left for work. We wanted to speak to her manager, she said her manager had already off duty left for work and will not pick up any call. She keeps giving lots of excuses instead of doing her job as a hotel staff. Such attitude is unacceptable in service industry, we will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and will never come back to this hotel nor recommend this hotel to anyone.
