On the terrace, the sun shines all day. ‘petra' is well furnished for up to 4 people. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms, one with a small balcony. On the ground floor, there is the living room with integrated kitchen and access to the terrace, as well as the bathroom (over bath shower) and a separate toilet. This holiday home is fully equipped. The kitchen is suitable for everyone who loves cooking and baking. And there is a washing machine available. (Outdoor area:) The parking space next to the house. (Distinctive features:) There is (De) Sat TV, baby cot and high chair are available on request and pets are welcome if registered in advance. We do charge 5 euro a day for each pet. (Surroundings:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a bicycle or e-chopper is also possible here. In Esonstad you can easily do your daily groceries (a bigger supermarkt is just a couple of kilometers away in Anjum) or find a restaurant, pizzeria or a snackbar.
