Gibson's Inn of Annapolis

I apologize for waiting so long to write this. Back in July of 2022 I asked if the owner would honor a gift certificate that had expired 2 weeks prior & the answer was NO. This is not good PR &, obviously, we have not stayed at Gibson's since then. Previously we were regulars. Also, as a side note, Carrol's Creek Restaurant honored a gift certificate that was 15 years old! Can you believe it?

We had a wonderful experience from checkin to check out. Shawna was our point of contact as we prepared for our stay and she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our tim at Gibson’s. Wes and the other staff members were very accommodating and kind. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff here is amazing. They are super nice and extremely helpful. I had a beautiful room engulfed in comfort. The amenities are top notch and the location couldn’t be better. I spent more time relaxing in my room than actually exploring. It was that cozy in February! I will stay here again for sure.

It was an amazing experience and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Everything was wonderful and the service was exceptional. The location was ideal and we loved being right in the center of historic Annapolis. Thank you and we look forward to our next visit.

An all around incredible stay. You first encounter the staff who are so helpful and lovely. They show you to your room, all of the options being impeccably decorated and so cozy. Complimentary name brand snacks and beverages abound. The location is also perfect for easy strolling to and around the main waterfront. They’ve thought of everything and are accommodating to special occasions and requests. For example, they provided non alcoholic sparkling cider in the room for my pregnant wife. We’ve now stayed here multiple times and would recommend to anyone.

We were so happy with the location, staff, comfort & cleanliness. Super easy to walk a few steps to the Naval Academy. We had such a nice stay that we booked our next one for February while here. Go Army, Beat Navy!

I booked four rooms for my family at Gibson's recently renovated Lauer House for the weekend. We were in Annapolis to visit the Naval Academy and enjoy dining in restaurants around the harbor. Gibson's is just a short walk from both. No worries about parking (a problem in downtown Annapolis), as Gibson's provides complimentary parking in their courtyard. We were greeted by friendly staff and exceptional amenities in our rooms (two bottles of wine, bottled water and plenty of packaged snacks). Along with an exercise room Lauer House also has a large gathering room where the family could get together to play board games and watch TV. The complimentary breakfast had generous offerings of cereals, pastries, bagels and fresh fruits. We found the beds to be comfortable and the bath facilities like new. The room rates were a little pricey, but not unreasonable considering the value of the room amenities, complimentary parking and breakfast. We were very impressed with Gibson's and hope to return soon.
