We’ve had a lovely stay here and will come again!! The best part is the location. If you are able to ski there is never a time when you have to walk anywhere in your ski boots. The locker room opens onto the blue piste. It got a bit icy some days but perfectly skiable for anybody that’s not a complete beginner. If you are a beginner skier the lifts and ski school are a 5 min walk down the hill. You can’t get much closer!! The ski area is brilliant!! We chose 2 bed apartment that sleeps 6. We had 2 adults in the double bedroom and our 11 and 13 year old in the twin room. We kept the sofa bed clear to give more space. The apartment was a good size for us. The kitchen was very basic. There was a combi microwave oven but we couldn’t work out how to use the oven part so all we did was used the hob and microwave for food. We were surprised to have to put our own sheets (sheets provided by the hotel) on our beds but have never stayed in self catering in France so presume this is normal. Also bring your own loo rolls, they gave us two for the week and you are meant to buy more!! The shop is very expensive so bring what you can from uk. I’d say the best value food is pizza takeaway. There’s a bakery very close (in Aguille grives) where you can go each day for croissants and fresh bread. Reception are very helpful and happy to offer advice. You can also borrow sledges from reception. Also a tip if you are driving from the uk- sat nav may try to take you across a piste!! Do not turn off (right) towards Landry, keep going towards Bourg Saint Maurice. Follow signs right into Bourg saint maurice and from there follow signs to les arcs and then to arc 1800! We trusted sat nav and turned towards Landry then followed the mountain all the way up to Peisey Vallandry where the sat nav tried to make us drive along a piste. (I presume it’s a mountain road in the summer). We had to go all the way back down and through Bourg and back up the other side which added an hour onto our journey. Overall a great stay. We would love to come again next year. The photo of skiers. Is standing on the piste just outside the boot room. The gondolas are just at the bottom of the hill. Other photos are the view from our room

This is the 4th year we’ve used Le Belmont and yet again we were not disappointed!! We booked a 2 bedroom this time and had plenty of space in the apartment with lots of storage space for 4. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There’s a ski rental shop and parking on site. If parking is full there is a covered garage just a short distance away. The boot room opens straight onto a slope that takes you directly to the Transarc gondola. You can also ski back into the apartments.Excellent location to slopes and also just a 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. Reception and recreational space on first floor with nice high end feel. Nespresso capsules and bakery items are available . from reception along with games and sledges to borrow. A cleaning pack is provided in the kitchen with cloths, washing up liquid and 7 dishwasher tablets which is a nice touch! Staff were very helpful as always!! Will be back.

We (myself plus 2 teenage sons) had a 1 bedroom apartment at Le Belmont. The apartment suited us fine, the apartment can sleep 5 which would have been particularly cramped. The apartment has a kitchen corner with four place hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There was adequate crockery, utensils, pans etc for our needs. There was a coffee machine, kettle, tea pot and toaster. A cleaning kit and tea towels were also provided. The apartment was well designed with plenty of cupboard space and hooks for coats. As I’ve found before in France you have to make your own beds with the linens provided when you arrive. I slept on the sofa bed and found it comfortable You can order breakfast bakery items from Reception. As others have said you can ski out and ski-in but it’s not the easiest and for confident skiers only. My only ****** was the Wi-Fi which didn’t work well and I gave up trying to connect. Fortunately there is very good 4G so best to get a data pack before you travel.

We have been visiting Les Arcs for 5 years now, usually staying four weeks. We absolutely love the Belmont, its a great location, the kids can walk to camp but most of all we love the service, Charlotte, Gerianne, Maeva, they are the best. They have been here every single year with a smile on their face. Keep up the good work!

We (5 friends) stayed in the "Standard two bedroom apartment 5/6" accommodation. Our room number was 714. This room had two spacious bedrooms, one with a twin and one with a king sized bed. Both rooms had a wardrobe and a radiator. One of the bathrooms had a sink, shower and toilet while the other bathroom had a bath/shower and a sink with a separate room for the toilet. Both bathrooms were of adequate size and both had radiators for your towels/any wet ski clothing. The living area and kitchen space were also adequately sized for the 5 of us. 6 would've also been fine. The utilities were all fine and working. Hob was good and the pans provided were also fine. No complaints in the kitchen. The living area/lounge was used as a bed but this room also had a radiator so the person sleeping in here won't be cold. The sofa acts as a bed and there was also another sofa bed style mattress under the sofa that could've been pulled out. All beds were extremely comfortable and way above what you'd expect when going on holiday. I was personally very very impressed by the mattresses. The pillows, unfortunately, were much to be desired. Overly soft and square and made it difficult to get comfy. If you like a harder pillow then you're out of luck here. Accommodation was plenty warm due to the self controlled radiators and all of our clothes were always dry the next day thanks to this. There are 3 elevators to access the upper floors so there should be less chance of ever having to walk to your floor in the case of a broken elevator. They have free, heated ski storage lockers that you unlock with your room key on the ground floor. This is accessible from the reception, outside the front door and a backdoor onto a slope. The slope entrance is the "ski-in, ski-out" feature of this accommodation. This access will become obvious after your first day skiing but is hard to explain in text - You take a slightly different route on a blue to get back. Starting the day you just ski down to the Transarc lift. The way in and out are not hard runs but first time skiers would likely rather walk down for the first day. Receptionists spoke well enough English and were very helpful and polite with any of our questions. We arrived at the main bus station of Les Arcs 1800 and got a free shuttle bus to "Les Vilards" which is the closest (and last) bus stop which drops you quite close to the accommodation. It is all uphill though. This higher area also made the walk to the main food areas a bit more taxing after a day skiing. Multiple sets of stairs and slippery downhills was of slight inconvenience. Negatives; We had a blocked drain in one of our showers that had quite a bad smell for most of the week. We did tell reception and someone came twice to "fix" the problem but not to much effect. The water pressure was also extremely poor in the bath/shower which made washing in this room difficult. The accommodation unfortunately had some hot water problems

This was our 4th visit to these apartments and they never disappoint. They are very clean, well appointed and this year the access to the slope has been replaced with an actual pisted run. The boot room door opens right onto the blue run which leads to the main lifts. Ski hire on site at the front door. Ski lockers have heated boot warmers to dry boots overnight. The kitchen is compact but has everything needed including a small cleaning pack with dishwash tabs, cleaner and washing up liquid. Beds were comfy and we had a lovely view from the balcony over the town to Mont Blanc. You can borrow a fondue or raclette or board games from reception. Short walk downhill to the main shopping area. Would recommend for families, couples or groups looking for well priced self catering accommodation.

Currently staying at Le Belmont. Family of four in a one-bedroom apartment that sleeps 5. Glad we booked this rather than a studio as that definitely would be cramped. Ski in and out is only for competent skiers as down narrow and icy tracks. But if you can manage it, the location to the Trans Arc gondola is great. Bit of a walk down quite a lot of steps to main area with bars and restos. However, we got a great deal through skiworld so can't complain! Receptionists are lovely and helpful and you can order bread/croissants/juice etc for collection from 8am in the morning which is handy. First time in Les Arcs, and we loved it.

We booked in January via Crystal Ski for a family of four and were aware that we had a one bedroom apartment. The kids are aged 12 & 16 so had to share the bedroom. We had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room which again we were aware of however.. When we arrived on the Saturday at 11pm after a 2 hour flight delay the reception was closed. The Crystal rep gave us our keys and we went to our room to find it hadn’t been cleaned after the last guests had checked out. It was in fact quite bad with the bathroom and toilet being the worst part of it. We had no toilet roll or towels in the room and the bedding that had been left for us wasn’t the cleanest either. We had no choice but to bed down for the night as there was no one around. The sofa bed took up all the available space in the living room and was really hard and uncomfortable. There was nowhere to put our suitcases once unpacked as there was literally no space. We went down first thing the next morning and to be fair they apologised and told us it would be cleaned while we were out skiing which they did do. We asked about upgrading to a larger room and they said they had one but it was an extra €650 so we politely declined as we had already paid over the odds when we booked. We had one set of thin white towels for the whole week and no bath mat provided. The kitchen was ok with four electric rings and a microwave that doubled as an oven (no instructions though so we couldn’t suss it out) The ski lockers were ok but at the busy peak times first thing in the morning it was a case of having to wait until someone else moved out of the way and only two benches to sit on for everyone. You can ski out and down to the main lifts from the back of the ski lockers but it can be a bit icy and tricky for beginners. We are all competent skiers so managed fine. The path back in is quite hard to find and unless you’ve had a big dump of snow is very rocky with trees and is very icy and narrow but again we all just about managed it. The apartments are situated up a hill from the main area and there are quite a lot of steps to go up & down. We struggled to find somewhere to eat out in the evenings as everywhere was fully booked so ended up with a takeaway most nights. There was a nice little bar that we ended up staying in one evening that served some basic platters and the staff were really welcoming. There are a couple of pizza places and a kebab/burger shop that was actually quite nice and reasonably priced but actually not that many restaurants/bars to choose from. We discovered on the journey back that there were actually a lot more bars/restaurants further round the resort that we weren’t aware of that we could have walked to but we were given no info from the Rep and there was no info in the room (usually a folder or something with info for the apartment/resort?) We had to queue for 2 hours on the Sunday morning to pick up the kids skis/boots at the small ski shop outside the hotel entra

This year (CY22) we booked our ski trip really late. although most ski resorts were fully booked we found a place in the Belmont + esf lessons for my 9y son + esf lessons for my 14y daughter. so we were quite excited to go back to les arcs where we went several times before. when we showed up the parking was horrendous, the line at the SKISET store in the Belmont literally took 2 hours, the quality of the room was very average for the price (nothing broken though), one elevator was broken, the ski locker room was probably the worst one I have ever seen, there were hundred of lockers and only 2 benches that people would fight for, no heating to dry the shoes, and finally the path to go to the slopes and back to the building were far from practical. overall we were not very satisfied and it's pretty much sure that we will never go back to the Belmont.
