AluaSun Lago Park

We arrived and were given the option to upgrade our room at a cost of 25 euros a night. This seemed reasonable and the idea of a marina view and sun beds on the terrace seemed great. However this was the worst decision we made. The upgraded rooms are right on the front and the night time noise was unbearable. We have a baby and a young child and none of us got any sleep at night. It’s fine if you can stay up all night then sleep all day but I feel that it should have been noted to us that the front rooms would be noisier. The hotel entertainment didn’t start until 9:45pm every night, and the noise from the marina of course went on all night. We felt that because we had paid for it there was no point in complaining as we would lose our money, plus would have to pack up all our stuff (and with a baby that’s a lot of stuff). Maybe we should have complained to see what they could have done but speaking to other people staying they said all rooms were noisy at night. By night 4 we were trying to find a reasonably priced alternative hotel but couldn’t find anything so stuck it out. Safe to say we went home shattered and needing another, much quieter holiday. Our room was clean, the facilities are basic but enough for self catering. The pool area is nice and there is lots of sun beds and the water park was great and quiet. The walk to the light house is nice early in the morning, and it’s handy having a few shops very close by to stock up on essentials. Hotel staff were friendly and responded to any questions, and the TUI reps were very helpful to us. The staff at the restaurants nearby were all very friendly and accommodating for children. If you have young children that need to sleep I wouldnt recommend this hotel. It would be better for couples or groups that like the nightlife side of a holiday. Also a note that you have to pay for a high chair if you want one in your apar**ent.

Rooms certainly need updating but the location was perfect and for the price we paid can't really quibble

Found this resort lacking Rooms cleanish Food poor same food not much choice All steps around resort Hard going even if fit Even harder with mobility issues The whole place could do with face lift reception seems to be only welcoming place Staff work hard do there best Slow with reporting problems Gave impression you were being a pain reporting them I wouldn’t recommend to friends If you want hen or stag this would be your place butlins in the sun

once again aluasun lagos park was again as good as it was last year , we could not believe the staff from reception, pool ,bar and housemaids remenbered us both , so pleased to see us again , so warm and welcoming , we even got the same apar**ent as last year . the weather was spot on . well done alausun Lagos park

Perfect location for the port, supermarkets & restaurants. the apar**ents were basic but clean. The grounds were immaculate with ample seating dotted all over the complex. Plenty of sun beds near pool. Only downside was the amount of stairs to apar**ent

The pool and communal area's are very well maintained. The rooms are very basic and in desperate need of renovation. Especially the bathrooms. The kitchen area is small and not really suitable for a family. The food on site is basic. I wouldn't recommend. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The mini club for children is extremely poor with no set activities.

Clean and basic..nice apar**ent.. very close to Marina..will definitely be going back again...worth the money.the staff were helpful..the pools were lovely and clean.the restaurants at the Marina were lovely.. lovely food..nice views.xx

Considering we actually booked Aparthotel Flora Park & Aquarock ( which was actually closed for the week we stayed ). Aluasun was better than we expected

Good points Really clean and functional apar**ent's. Really helpful staff Location is right in the resort centre. Bad points Food not very warm. Very limited choice of food. The food was pretty poor. Couple hand rails by reception where lose considering hotel just reopened for season. In conclusion really good value for money. But go self catering at this hotel. If you mobility issues. You would struggle to the second floor apar**ents. The tiles around the outside areas will get slippery when wet.
