Vibra Caleta Playa Apartamentos

The hotel is a huge space with a lot of apart hotels. The swimming pools are quite big so you don’t have the risk to bump into someone. There are a lot of activities for kids also. In general it’s a nice place to stay

It was exactly what we needed for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It wasnt posh, hugh class and glamourous. It was functional and did what we wanted it to do. The location is great, the place is very pretty, the hotel rooms are good, the pools are great and the beach is awesome.

We arrived before our apar**ent was ready and had an hour to kill, so went for something to eat at the pool bar, the food was not good, stone cold chips and a bacon coloured chicken burger, pizza that looked like a tortilla with cheese, which made us decide to give the resort food a miss. Keys collected and into the apar**ent, we were in Caleta Playa very close to the beach, with a fantastic view and a west facing balcony. The apar**ent was basic, 2 rings, toaster, microwave remember to take a sharp knife and coffee cups the room is only supplied with espresso cups. don't worry about towels or toilet paper the house keeping lady came everyday. Small shop on site and better shop about 7mins away. This is a remote place with very little nearby everywhere is a walk, bus or taxi, Cuitadella which 30 mins walk or 5 euro's in a taxi is a must, also good bus service. PROS, beautiful area super close to beach and clear sea. Plenty of sunbeds and 7 pools at the resort. Both bedroom and living area had AC House keeping everyday. Nearest bar is about 5 min's away ODEUM which is very nice with a Pizza van on site. Free security box helpful reception staff more than happy to get a taxi CONS, it's used and could really do with some inves**ent, limited equipment in the apar**ents. Very poor Wifi Very limited for food and drinks near hotel.

We stayed in this lovely apar**ents last week. After reading bad reviews I was not sure about our stay but we were positively surprised. Staff were amazing , they were very helpful, kind, acting fast to sort out problems . Location is brilliant, basically you walk down the beach from the back exit of the resort, it is fantastic for families. 4 pools , all supervised, great aquarobic and bar by the pool. Food available on site, or on the bar , also local supermarket for anything else. We ate in local restaurants Sa Quatra -lovely cafe restaurant by the sea, restaurants in main square in ciutadella - it only costs 5 euro to get to the centre by taxi, bus or just by walk around 20 minutes. The only bad thing is internet which is areal pain and was switching off constantly and for that reason I would not stay there again as if you are coming with kids - good internet in rooms is a must! We had really good time, rooms were clean and housekeeping very good, freshly done beds , floors and towels daily. If they had better internet I would give them 4 stars .

not what we expected, in general Menorca not what we expected, crowded and noisy

This is not 4 star. Id say 2 star. Im very honest with reviews. This place doesn't look the same on photos. The staff are so rude, they shout at you. Room smelt of damp and floor covered in black hair. Rust and old paint in bathroom not fit for kids. 2€ for safe box a day!! Very tight id say. Food is cold and has flies all around sitting on the food. And breakfast is like a pack of seagulls getting the scraps. I qued for a crossiant for 10 mins. People pushing you out the way! Not very polite. Staff are horrendous, moody rude, telling you of for everything. Speaking to you like a child. Cleaners shouting at the top of their voice when you're trying to sleep or relax near pool. WiFi is bad in room. Id say dont get a ground floor apar**ent. Old mouldy. Just awful. Entertainment not great. Feels like its the 80s in this hotel. No holiday spirit or joy just old school feel with teachers not staff. Reception staff awful except 2 !! No information or boards to offer help or bus routes etc. Only nice thing about hotel is little beach near it and restaurants to the back of hotel about 15 mins walk. Id not recommended this place to any English. Poo stain on towel! Hairs in toliet and floor dirty. See pics.

Hotel has lots of potential with 7 pools and located on the beach. Unfortunately it's in poor condition and badly run. Maid service definitely not 4 star. Towels not replaced. WiFi coverage not as described. 3 hotels combined into one. Many of the facilities abandoned. Jet2 advertising as being in Cala Santandria but it's 15 minutes walk away. Would not recommend.

Not many reviews of this place so thought I’d give our honest review from this month. Good points This hotel is a combination of 3 hotels which all share the same facilities. The pool areas are nice and always very quiet, never any issues getting sun beds etc which was a nice change. Lifeguards on duty etc slide not exactly thrilling but ok for little kids Breakfast good choice, fresh omelettes and crepes and we ate evening meal at hotel few times , so cheap! £31 for family of 4 buffet and was lovely food different every night . Kids loved the ice cream Drinks are super cheap at the hotel £4 euros for a wine and a beer. Kids mini disco and entertainment typical for hotel really . Kids enjoyed it Most staff are lovely and friendly , especially the lady on the bar upstairs and those on reception The hotel is on the beach and it is stunning. Little beach bar selling food and drinks open until dark. Lots of families stayed on beach until late evening . a 10 min walk to Santandria which is beautiful cove too with bars /restaraunts round it. Fab for snorkling and can hire pedelos from here Next to the hotel is a larger gift shop, pharmacy and a couple food places. Es bot is good . Lovely food and has trampolines and soft play and another pool. great for kids Bus stop outside hotel into citudella takes about 10 mins and defo worth a visit as is water park in Cala en Bosch 8km away bus cheap and regular from outside hotel On site shop cheap and well stocked . Pizza for 6 euros great for Lunch or evening on beach We found guests to be mostly Spanish and French. Son loved playing football with his new Spanish friends! Negatives Rooms are super basic didn’t bother us as never really in it but not the nicest and never change towels etc but u can ask for them The hotel needs to be clear about location as it’s 3 hotels in one the entrance says blanc palace and very confusing for taxi and us! More entertainment round pool would be good and some areas like park and pool tables look really tired More maid service but the hotel is huge so probs not possible! Be able to use inflatables in at least one of the pools! We would actually visit again, menorca is absolutely beautiful and we loved our stay. Yes, it’s not luxury but for the price you pay for here we couldn’t really ask for more
