Calallonga Hotel Menorca

We have visited the restaurant in this hotel since 2018 but the new chef Sonia has turned the menu and food around. It is fabulous and very reasonably priced too. We had the sushi which was hand made and delicious. The staff are very friendly and efficient. This will definitely be our to go to restaurant.

Amazing hotel with great restaurant .apar**ent is beautiful well worth it . We rented car which os fast way around but they have shuttle to beach and twice a day to mahon from there buses around. Love it

Everything was exactly as we would have liked it. Wonderful place to stay and very convenient for Mahon.

Loved the friendly nature of this hotel and most of the time it seemed we had the pool to ourselves. Hopefully it will remain a bit of a hidden gem, away from the more crowded hotels elsewhere on the island. Will definitely return at the earliest opportunity.

Great hotel tucked away across the bay from Mahon ideal for a peaceful relaxing stay, our apar**ent was very good with plenty of room and the hotel has good parking around it. The pool area was good ( two pools) and we ate one night in the restaurant and the food was very good the octopus was amazing my wife said after trying for the first ever time. Very handy for Sa Mesquida beach too. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel but the only downside is checking is at 4pm we tried earlier but not available.

Excellent hotel/ apar**ent. Rooms are modern, clean, spacious, and have a good-sized bathroom with a decent shower. They also have a lounge area and a large balcony. Staff are great and very friendly and helpful. Hands down the best experience out of many recent hotels I've visited in recent years. I am not normally someone who returns to the same place on holiday, but 100% would come back here again. Yes, it's a little out of the town but only an 8 minute drive, so there is no need for anyone to complain about that. We did not go all inclusive here, but the hotel food is fantastic, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I've experienced on holiday stays in hotels in the med. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Would absolutely recommend this place! Rooms were new and clean. Great air conditioning too! Staff always super friendly. They go out of their way to help. Great food, excellent shuttle service and both pools are clean and have a great view of the town. Can’t wait to go back!

The Hlg apar**ents is overall a nice place to stays we had a family 2 week holiday and everyone had a lovely time.. Highlights. Helpful reception staff, our cleaning lady visited our apar**ent every 3rd morning to provide clean bed lined towels and cleaned the apar**ent, she was friendly and chatty.:) Accommodation. The apar**ents are divided into two sections, seafront and pool sides.. We stayed in a large 2 bedroom apar**ent.. at night the apar**ents became very hot , the apar**ent is I n a corner of the row and there was as no sea breeze to cool us down.. we did have two fans though that helped. The apar**ents is basic, but we had everything we needed… some things we could have used …a chopping board ,a small knife for food prep and a toaster would have been nice.. The Pool. The children really enjoyed the pool, it gave them a safe space to practice and strengthen their swimming .. The pool Itself could do with a little TLC.. there are lots of Missing and loose tiles,, on the positive… the kids spent lots of time Diving and retrieving the tiles, it kept them entertained.. I The location. It’s a very quiet resort, nice shops , restaurants a decent little Supermarket… it’s not cheap though. We swam and snorkelled every day.. the swimming coves are stunning and the warm Mediterranean Sea is such a treat with lots of sea life to view.. loved it.. the cove was the highlight of my trip.
