Great location but quality goes downhill from there. We wanted to try a few local hotels on our tour of France and having experienced an Ibis Styles the day previous this was a bit of a shock. It has huge potential of character and location but is let down by lack of quality in the rooms and breakfast. To put it into perspective we could have booked another Styles up the road for just a bit more than this hotel cost. Our room had 3 single beds (only 2 needed), no headboard, no refreshment, a tiny toilet space and dated furniture. It smelt a bit musty too. Breakfast was on a tray with no choice apart from bread, Pain and Croissant, Danone yogurt and a piece of fruit. OK if the pastry had been good but they weren't; worst we had all trip, being too "bready". Yes it was fairly clean but so dated we cannot recommend I'm afraid.

This is becoming my regular stopover hotel in Arras on my way south from the Channel Tunnel. It is very conveniently situated in the magnificent Grand'Place within easy reach of bars and restaurants. My room was small but perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. In spite of its situation the rooms are quiet, being well back from the square. There was a good variety offered for breakfast though the coffee and croissants could have been of better quality.

Three nights with friends staying in the 'Les Trois Luppars.' (Three Wolves) All the big Hotels in Arras were fully booked on the dates I wanted to go and we were recommended this Hotel. It is one of the oldest building in Arras (1470). It is well-situated at the corner of the Grand Place within a few yards of excellent restaurants and bars. The bedrooms are quite small and there is no air conditioning, but the triple-glazing and heavy curtains are efficient and keeps the heat out. The beds are firm, comfortable and clean. The separate (en-suite) toilet was small but functional. Clean towels in the en-suite shower room every day. I did noticed that the carpeted floorboards creaked and I could hear creaking in the next room! The breakfast is good value loaded with fresh bread and croissants, fruit and more. There is no bar, but you don't need one as there is one next door! (and more) There is convenient parking on the Grand Place and the nearby secure underground car park at 6 euros a night. (5pm -9am) The Hotel manager is Jean-marc. He is friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall, a good billet.

The hotel is very beautiful and situated with a prime view over a magnificent square in Arras. The hotel is in a building dating back to the 1400s and appears unique in the square. The gentleman who appeared to run the hotel could not have been more helpful and prepared various elements of the breakfast himself upon request. The twin room was a good size and very clean with comfortable beds, and the interior of the hotel is clearly well maintained in the classic style to be expected at such a location.

A nice but rather old-fashioned hotel in a beautiful building in a fabulous position overlooking the Grand Place in Arras. Parking is usually free on the Place or there's an underground car park. We were in room 14 which is quite small but with a comfortable bed and a view over the Grand Place. Owners are friendly, although with not a lot of English. Nice big continental breakfast. All in all good value for money.

Excellent little hotel right in the centre of beautiful Arras. Very old, interesting building, so low beams! Simple decor, very clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff who were kind and helpful to my elderly parents. Perfect location for visiting the war cemeteries of Thiepval and Vimy Ridge. This is our second visit, and we’ll be back again.

My second visit here. Great location in the Grand Place, friendly welcome and comfortable room with adequate breakfast. Well situated for bars and restaurants and a convenient place to stay after a Channel crossing. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Hotel Des Trois Luppars for 3 nights. A very friendly welcome. The rooms were excellent and spotlessly clean. Bathroom towels changed everyday. Breakfast more than sufficient. The hotel is in the heart of Arras, surrounded by eateries and bars. Car parking easy. All in all no negatives.
