We had a very pleasant stay at the equator hotel: The room with a balcony facing the beautiful park was spacious, clean and quiet. Coming back to the hotel after walking around in the city always felt like arriving at an oasis. The manager John and his staff were always very friendly and helpful. The Indian food at the restaurant was good - as for breakfast, there is still some room for improvement. If we come back to Arusha, we will definitely be staying at the Equator Hotel again!

Clean , comfortable, good value for the money… staff very accommodating. Excellent location in the center of the town, near clock tower… easy to get transportation to various spots … had a good stay

The rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The restaurant had delicious food with a beautiful breakfast spread. Thank you to the front desk for being so helpful and coordinating rides for me! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend Equator Hotel to anyone visiting Arusha.

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Arusha. It has wonderful large garden and the spacious balcony of our room overlooked that garden. The rooms were also spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast was varied with fruits, fresh pancakes and eggs at your choice prepared on the spot. The hotel might need a little update of the bathrooms but currently it is excellent value for money.

Very nice, clean hotel centrally located in Arusha. It is walking distance to the clock tower along with many stores and restaurants including the Masai market. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good with a well stocked bar and a huge menu of Indian and continental options. Would definitely recommend this hotel while staying in Arusha.

I came early and they allowed me to check in before noon. Friendly staff asked me did I need mosquito spray at night. Nice location near the centre.

This is probably the best Indian food I have tasted. The menu is so big I was suspicious that they would be able to deliver on everything but they did and it is all delicious and fresh. Great vegetarian and vegan choices and my partner assures me the meat is as good. All this and amazing value, great customer service and beautiful quiet gardens right in the middle of Arusha. Had a look round the hotel today too and if retro is your thing I would definitely recommend it!! So this would be my No 1 choice in Arusha. Treat yourself. Thank you Christina for your great service too!
