Designhotel Whitman

Unimpressed with the welcome and “digital” check in. No information on facilities. No information in the room either, nothing on Wi-Fi login etc. Very disappointed with the room. The booking I made said the junior suite would have view of the lake. It has no such thing. If I went 3 metres out in the garden, I could perhaps catch a little glimpse of water through the trees. The main bedroom was down in a dark basement, the exits/“windows” were blocked with steel coverings, would be impossible to get out in case of fire! Our upstairs room had windows out to the entrance, and as it was slightly lower than the walkway, everyone looked straight in through the windows when entering the building, so curtains had to remain closed. But the curtains were see through, making the room not very nice for our children sleeping there. We ended up having to use towels to block people from ooking straight into the kids in their beds from outside… They had made a bed for one of the kids in the sofa, just placed a single thin sheet over the seats… not very hygienic - never seen anything like it. I went to the main house to see if we could get some more sheets or towels (all of ours being used to cover the windows…), but all the doors were closed and locked, no one at any front desk to help. I also closed the front door to our building, they were wide open, so anyone could just walk in. Did not feel safe. The Wi-Fi was not good, off and on all the time, and phone reception inside was so so, making 5g also difficult. The kids liked the swimming pool, but some confusion about opening hours- the website said 18.00, other places 20.00. The steam sauna was closed with a “defekt“ sign on the door. In total: Nice location, but overpriced for what we got. Missing a lot to qualify as 4 stars. Would not recommend staying with kids.

Hello ! So sorry guys, but are you really serious with this kind of business ? A ridicukous digital check-in in a rural hotel, really ? No service, no hospitality, no nothing? This is a scam, right? In a rural village in northern Germany, you dont have personal to have you a welcome? This is a joke, right ! Candidn camera may be ? This was just disgusting

Pent house med lake view. 🙃 vi havde udsigt til en kedelig baghave. De sagde at man kunne skimte søen , hvis man kiggede inden over naboens terasse. Og hvis vi skulle have udsigt til søen, hed beskrivelse lake panorama 😆 Spa service? Dampbad virkede ikke, peronale i spa var gået hjem kl 16.30. Vi kunne se i menuen, hvad vi ville spise i restauranten på værelset. Men da vi ankom til restauranten var det en helt anden " kedelig " menu kort. Alt i alt , værelset var ok fint. Udenoms arealerne slidte. Vil ikke kalde det et spa område, kun pool område. God sommer

A beautifull Hotel Great food Great service Excellent

Dieses Wochenende sollte ein entspanntes Wellness Wochenende werden. Daraus wurde nichts, da das Dampfbad überhaupt nicht in Betrieb war und die Sauna nur zu sehr eingeschränkten Zeiten verfügbar war. Weder bei Buchung noch auf der Website wurde dieses vermerkt. Im Zimmer gab es keine Nachttischleuchten, viele Flecken auf dem Teppich und das Badezimmer war in schlechtem Zustand. Die Rezeption war sehr selten besetzt und es gab eigentlich nur digitalen checkin . Das Personal war hingegen sehr freundlichen das Frühstück mit vielfältiger Auswahl gut. Auch das Restaurant war schön und das Essen gut, aber höhere Preisklasse. Alles in allem handelt es sich bei dem Hotel nicht um ein wirkliches Designhotel und das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Unsere Beschwerde wurde sehr unbefriedigend beantwortet.

Vi var på en lille familietur med 2 overnatninger. Vi fik et fint stort værelse med hyggelig indretning, fint lille tekøkken og god service. Spa er en lille pool, sauna og dampbad - og med mulighed for lidt massage. Det var en ok restaurant - dog ikke så meget at vælge imellem for børnene.

Das Zimmer war toll, sauber. Kein Telefon, nur eine digitale Rezeption. Essen im Restaurant ok, musste aber 2x zurück, da 1x kalt und 1x das Steak durchgebraten war. Viel zu überpreisig, das Essen. Für 22€ erwarte ich mehr als zwei hauchdünne Schnitzelchen und 4 Kroketten. Das Frühstück „normal“ für ein gutes Hotel, allerdings das Rührei aus dem Tetrapack, der Kaffee lauwarm und das Ganze für 24,50€ 😳 Das Zimmer und der Pool waren toll und sehr stylish. Allerdings muss man zum Pool quer über den Hof und an der Rezeption „durch nach hinten“, da die Pooltür nach draußen abgeschlossen war.

Fint hotell med underbara rum, men där all info är på tyska och utlovad öppettid på restaurang vid ankomst inte gällde, samt att incheckningen krånglade. Svindyr frukost, som dessutom var fattig. Är kluven till om jag skulle rekommendera. Ganska dyrt.

Der einzige Lichtblick in diesem Hotel, das eigentlich ein Appartement Häuserkomplex ist, ist das überaus nette engagierte Personal. Das erste, was man am Eingang wahrnimmt, ist der unangenehme Küchengeruch. Die Zimmer in einem der anderen Gebäude sind über einen Fahrstuhl erreichbar, der in diesem Jahr bestimmt noch nicht gereinigt wurde. Das Design der Zimmer ist bemüht, wirkt allerdings billig. Der Kühlschrank im kleinen Flur an Eingang ist nachts so laut, dass der Schlaf gestört wird. Alles in allem hat der Internetauftritt NICHTS mit der Realität zu tun. Das Essen ist ok, aber Fisch und Fleisch stets totgebraten. Die Kaffeepausen während des Seminars waren phantasielos. Als Kaltgetränk stand lediglich Wasser im Raum. Ich war froh, wieder abreisen zu können.
