I love the character of this hotel, its charm is special and the rooms have a class. This time I was disappointed by the continuous passage of people from a colloquium, the noise of the rolling plate of the room service and I had neighbors especially the second night when I heard everything: their discussion, their physical noise, their television. It was hell, and I realized I was in a larger room, a passage through a simple door communicated with the next room (109/107). The hotel has a very good location, and it is very good for you to find a good location. On the other hand my room was quiet, but without double glass, the goods passing the night made me a party! The restaurant Mil Cent is in the centre of the hotel, with a nice restaurant, good products, pleasant reception, excellent iberic jam, Dilmah tea. Spain is a gorgeous country. The people warm and friendly, the sights entrancing, the food unsurpassed. We have been to Spain twice, once in October 2016 pre-pandemic and once in October 2022. During both trips we had the absolute pleasure of staying at La Zoreda. Each time we had an exceptionally warm welcome from the front desk. Massimo and Stephanie made us feel like returning friends. They were warm and engaging speaking perfect English to our hesitant Spanish. The rooms are first class. They are spacious, beautifully appointed and impart a feeling of tranquility the moment you enter. At night the windows open to a breathless silence with just a hint of breeze ruffling the silk curtains making the beautiful embroidered butterflies dance and lulling you into dreamland. The breakfast is excellent, with gorgeous food shared in a wonderful room overlooking the back garden. I particularly like the warm milk they bring for your café con leche. But I save the very best for last. The dining room is outstanding and favorably compares to the best we have enjoyed across several continents. The first night we dined there we ordered off the extensive menu and had a memorable meal. For our second night, we booked the chef's choice special menu and were not disappointed. Not only did he design the menu, but it was printed out with each of the seven courses. It was heaven! The octopus was exquisite, a true taste sensation; the cream of garlic soup smooth, flavorful, each mouthful sensational; the pork perfectly roasted with the outside crackling with flavour. The dessert an eruption of exquisitely blended sensations of fruit and chocolate. Javier was the consummate host leading us through each course matching cocktails and wine with each course. Stephanie to our surprise and delight, provided a glass of champagne to kick off the entire evening. Although the setting is exquisite, it is the staff, the chef, Massimo, Stephanie and Javier who truly make this an unforgettable experience. If you are planning on a trip to Spain, La Zoreda is a destination that must not be missed. We were looking for golf courses and comfort- instead we found a home away from home and a lifetime of memories. We will make a point of returning.

I was on the 6th floor I saw the whole city. Spacious room with bathroom, green marble, bidet. With boiler, tea, coffee, bar, USB-charge connection. The table in the room allows you to have room to eat, desk to write, it is very nice. The hotel was very comfortable and comfortable.

We had Ants in our room and they got into our luggage. We stayed there for 5 nights and housekeeping was so poor they didn’t even notice. We complained about it on the last day and were informed the GM would message us with explanation and apology but 4 days later no message. Breakfast service is unacceptable. Servers were rude and on two days they claimed to be out of boiled eggs!!! The most basic item on any breakfast menu. Rooms were nice but water pressure was terrible. Highlights were Carla and Sandra on the front desk. They were very helpful and friendly. Do not recommend this property. It’s also completely out of town and if you don’t have a car, be prepared to walk a minimum of 20mins to get into town.

Stay here for 2 nights The hostel is located in the heart of the historic centre Oviedo, just one street away from the bustling Plaza de la Constitución and City Hall of Oviedo. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk from the main bus and train station in the city and pretty easy to find once I find my way to the city hall. Check-in was really straightforward as the hostel asked me to check in online and all reception needed was my passport to confirm my identity. I was shown all around the hostel, including the kitchen, common area and of course the dorm. The dorm was a four bed dorm with 2 bunk beds and an ensuite bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub. The shower and toilets worked well. The bunks were the wooden frame variety, although it was pretty sturdy. Even though my bunkmate was a bit of a night owl, I still got 2 nights of good sleep. The mattress was some kind of thick foam and really comfortable. The covers were thick and I had asked for an extra blanket. Even though it was cold, it still felt warm and cosy under the blankets. Breakfast was provided and mainly consisted of cereals, toasts and spreads, tea and coffee. Nothing fancy, but good for the price of the stay. The kitchen and plenty of utensils as well as cooking equipment, and could be used by guests for cooking too. The hostel is also situated on two floors, with the upper floor also containing rooms, a kitchen and a terrace. It was too cold to use at this time of the year, but I did wander up and it has a lovely view of the city hall. The hostel, room and bathroom were kept clean throughout my stay. The staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. They have lots of information for things to do and see in Oviedo and the surrounding area. I would have no hesitation staying at Green Hostel again.

We stayed in two rooms for five nights. Travelled with older parents. Location is great for those wanting to be next to beach! Our stay was wonderful. Hotel is clean and modern. Our rooms were just right, clean, beds, sheets and pillows were comfortable! We slept well. No allergies. I was worried about pet dander but felt well in rooms. Heads up to the room cleaning team! 👍 Friendly and helpful. Everyday after our outings we came back to a clean room, beds made wonderfully. Breakfast was nice but nothing extraordinary. More options and larger selection would have been nice: avocado, better coffee. Service was nice. Hotel value/price/Quality/ was good! We parked off street and had no problems. If you don’t find parking on side street there is a huge free parking lot a 100 meters away! One con is that there isn’t enough lighting in the rooms especially for older folks. We will definitely stay here again.

Loving Gijon for remaining Spanish and not going for mass tourism, and, having stayed at the Abba in San Sebastien, we were very much looking forward to our two night stay here. The prices is what should have made us aware of the differences and not just because of differing geographical positions. During our stay, there was nowhere to sit outside during the day when the temperature was excellent even in a stiff breeze. The swimming pool is only open for three months to early September although never found it in any case! The Roof Terrace which is excellent with tables snd settees only opens at 17.00 - why? For hotel information you have yo go the ubiquitous internet site which gives more questions than answers and herself loves to read the printed information which is a lot more referable! The rooms are smaller (but comfortable enough) but totally lack sound proofing as clearly heard the busy traffic below all day, people in other rooms and moving in the corridor. Parking underneath was spacious and readily available during out stay. No food, from end of lunch, is apparently available anywhere in the hotel until 20.00 in the evening and the same, rather simple, menu is served in the bar and internal dining room. I would add, though, it is pretty good and remarkably cheap! It is a good 10/15 minute walk to central town and maybe 20/30 to the old town area for oldies like us. It was an adequate stay but would not be looking to repeat it on our next visit to this city

When arriving at the reception, the girl who attended our meeting (by the way, very beautiful) explained that if we want to eat breakfast and enjoy a 9 euro discount, then we can hire him the day before because it is 18 euros. In general, we went out for dinner and then returned to the hotel. The next day we wanted to rent breakfast. To our surprise, the boy at the reception told us that in order to benefit from this offer, we must We hired him during our stay and he gave us so angry that we didn't do it because it was not what they told us in the first place. But on the Sunday before leaving, there was another girl at the reception. In order to confirm the true version, we told her what happened and confirmed the version of her first companion. She asked us a thousand apologies. The facts are facts. There is nothing we can do. Could not have breakfast.

Whoever built a hotel here is very courageous. There is nothing nearby. The hotel is almost at the end of a lane that leads to a small stony beach with extremely low occupation. The building is modern and quite minimalist. Although it was full during my stay, I heard no noise from other rooms nor from plumbing, extremely unusual in Spain. With no passing traffic, nights were deliciously quiet. A very good breakfast is served, which all other clients took indoors. I took the option of breakfasting in the shade in the delightful garden. There was no dinner available as they couldn’t find staff, not the first time I heard this in Asturias. There is a footpath into town, and in 15 minutes one arrives at a bar serving food. I had intended to eat there, but then discovered an out of town, easily accessible supermarket at around 8 minutes drive from the hotel. So I bought food that could be eaten cold and ate It on the beach. I did this both evenings and had a very pleasant time, with the tang of sea air, the sound of the waves and the view of the sun going down over interesting rock formations jutting out of the briny. A couple of beers on the beach before the dinner enhanced my enjoyment! So, a charming stay and a place that I would willingly return to.

The hotel is a private hostel but, unlike the usual, it is unrealized, it is careful to the minimum detail. They don't let you get up the bags that come from the way to avoid insects or dirt, they leave you a few cans to throw out your clothes or things you need. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are flat with gardens and beds very comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, but it is very complete, and it offers infusions or coffee, tomato-toast and oil or butter and marmelade along with fruit-makedonia. The staff is very competent and friendly, certainly a place where you are hosting**** if you are on the door.

The room is large and the bedrooms are fine, the only good with the location, views and the friendly staff. We went to Santa Week and the beds were dressed only with a sofa and a bed, we had a coat for the two beds we share because it was cold, we could have asked another, but we were so dressed. The box was dirty, with residues of mega in a box and dry fruit in another area, we complained at reception and they went up to clean it, putting as an excuse that there was a new girl for cleaning. The bathroom window was not closed well, was cold for shower****. The glasses of the window and the terrace were unclean, the curtains were “coated” with a hairdryer and not very clean. The wifi signal was not reached the room. The hotel is very close to the city centre of Oviedo, and it is relatively easy to park. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. At the sixth floor there was quite noise, from a nearby machine room, I asked if I could change to a lower room and they told me that ”this noise was possible that I was also in the other plants, that normally nobody complains about it and that if I changed it would be tomorrow”, so given the low predisposition and empathy that this worker had to change my room (in low season I think it would have been simple ...) I chose to sleep with taps for the rest of the days.

Both were not good, so we returned it after eating just a bit. We did not have to pay for this, which is OK, but like this it is not nice to go a restaurant.
