Nikiou Suites Luxury Residence

The location is central with many restaurants, shops and cultural sites within a few blocks of a few minutes. The room was quiet and large and modern enough. Nice shower and bathroom! The other major plus are the wonderful women (Roselyn and Valerie) who staff the hotel and helped us identify and make reservations at restaurants, sent us to great bakeries, clothing stores and a barber shop and nail salon. I’m so happy we found this place.

Beautiful rooms, but poor customer service. We booked a room type whose only pictures online showed a bright glassed balcony with a pleasant view. Upon arrival, we were given a very dark room with the balcony facing inside the lobby of the hotel. Despite our complaints that it wasn’t serious to mislead customers by only displaying pictures of nicer rooms online, the staff refused to do anything about it. Also, there is no possibility to have breakfast at the hotel. Overall, would not recommend.

Our stay at the Nikiou Suites was interesting and not what we had expected. We have mixed feelings on it and would not book here again. First off, the location is perfect, easy walk to every major attraction. Our room was a very good size, with good AC (important in summer) and a great shower (Pool view Room). Very modern decor, full electronic lighting system and we were able room to plug in all major devices. We found the bed to be very firm and uncomfortable. We didn’t like that there really were no exterior windows, although it did have an interior courtyard patio with a cold pool/jacuzzi tub where the pigeons enjoyed swimming. We didn’t realize when booking (our fault) that this is not a full service hotel (no services at all, no breakfast…etc). It’s more of an apartment situation. Front desk gives you a key and you are on your own. We found the front desk to be extremely non-responsive to emails regarding transportation to/from the airport and any other questions. Often taking more than 24 hours to respond. So if you don’t care about having service amenities, it may be a good choice for you. If you want a full service hotel, you should keep looking. We had the most perfect stay for 5 nights. We stayed in the pool suite as a family of three with our 7 year old daughter. The room was modern, stylish and spacious. The beds were big and comfortable. They convert the sofa bed for the third person and our daughter was very happy with her bed. Great waterfall shower. We had exclusive use of the pool; it’s a cold plunge pool with water jets. We loved it after a day of sightseeing and walking. The hotel’s best asset is its location. You are in walking distance of the Acropolis and it’s the perfect base to explore Athens on foot. The hotel is run as suites/apartments so there is no restaurant or bar. There are loads of places to drink and eat on your doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have no complaints.

We visited Nikiou over the Easter holiday weekend, a gift from our son, who booked it for us after visiting there previously and being so pleased. It was such a pleasant experience, Valerie met us when we arrived and went out of her way to make sure we had the best experience whilst in Athens. She even got me some plasters after all that walking and booked us into a great restaurant overlooking the Acropolis. The hotel is in a perfect location for getting out and about and to see all of the sights, restaurants and shops. It is very clean and peaceful. We will definitely go back to this hotel and can totally recommend it. We were sorry to leave. Thank you Valerie for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

Beautiful hotel. Modern style. Very clean . Wonderful architecture. The owner worm and kind. She help us with recommendations for restaurants bars . They have not breakfast in the hotel but there are many options near . The room was very clean . All is and new.

Outstanding hotel in the centre of Athens. The location is perfect. The rooms are very stylish and well equipped. It felt like luxury! I did not want to leave. The full place has a good vibe to it - peaceful and luxurious. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. Fantastic stay.

The name of this hotel is extremely appropriate because the suites really are luxury residences. I felt the warmth from Valerie and her team from the moment I stepped inside the plush and ornate lobby. I booked the pool view room which has a private plunge pool on the veranda for 3 nights. The room was spotless, had a fridge, safe and the usual amenities but what made the stay special was the service. You were always greeted with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. A car transfer was organised efficiently for me to get to the airport. There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby as the street is in the heart of a bustling area. There are supermarkets, shops and even a nail salon next door, which I made use of. You are given a key to the front door as well as a key to your individual room. It’s an extremely safe place and as a solo traveller. I felt extremely comfortable. Treat yourself to sheer luxury. You won’t regret it.

fabulous experience ! i loved everything about it ! it’s stylish & beautiful . the rooms are luxurious & spacious. the location is superb. and the indoor atmosphere is very peaceful. but above all, stands out the excellent level of SERVICE and hospitality, that made me feel very very welcome. thank you Valerie ! strongly recommend !
