The front desk staff were amazing and so nice!!! Room was perfect exactly what we needed & bed was so comfortable!!!

Hotel was clean and located in a decent area. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. The reader to get in the door in the rear of the building was not working which was a bit of a pain, since it was freezing at the time. Also we were looking forward to breakfast but it did not open until 7am and we had to leave just prior to that.

We love the cleanness of the room, the service of the employees, the quiet atmosphere, the appearance of the building and the colors, the price. The only thing we dislike was that the bed was very noisy.

This motel is amazing! Stayed 5 nights and hated to leave. Everything about this motel is top notch.

This is a surprisingly nice hotel. Tru seems to be Hilton's blend of Wyndham's Microtel and Marriott's Aloft. Tru largely succeeds where Aloft fails miserably.
The front desk staff at Tru Auburn was excellent. Very helpful and friendly.
The deco design at Tru is attractive and enjoyable.
The breakfast is good. Not as good as at a higher priced hotel, but good. The breakfast attendants were hard-working and helpful. I appreciated that Tru provides a continuous-belt toaster instead of a traditional push-down toaster. That makes toasting a bagel or English muffin much easier.
My one complaint is the size of the bed platform relative to the size of the room. The platform is larger than the mattress, with pointed corners that jut out into the room and jab your knee. There's very little room between the desk chair and the corner of the bed platform. I bumped my knee four times in a one-night stay. Ouch!
