Lifesport Hotel Hechenmoos

We stayed here for 7 nights; a wonderful experience. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful (mixing modern with traditional Austrian style) and the food was excellent. The hotel is well located for ski buses to get you to the base stations (there is a car park for those who prefer to drive). We both agree that we would like to return to this hotel 😀

This experience was like coming home! The young owner couple welcomes you with charming hospitality and you feel them being a real host. Helping you to plan you stay and suggesting ideas for outdoor activities. As this Hotel is dedicated to cycling in the Spring/Summer/ Autum-Time you enjoy Rented bikes, free charging of bikes, other devices and not to forget an excellent bio breakfast with homemade bred and smoothies. Coffee is as good as it can be in Austria. Wintertime at the Lifesport Hotel is dedicated to the skier of all types. The ski bus just in front of the entrance and a sufficient parking lot serves all needs. The newly refurbished rooms create a cosy a**osphere in a traditional tyrolian style. Très agréable hôtel. Hôtel moderne avec une touche traditionnelle. La patronne est très agréable et à l'écoute de ses clients. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Nombreux équipements pour les enfants à l'extérieur. Sauna, terrasse panoramique sur le toit. Parking gratuit. Très bons moments passés dans cet établissement

Nach telefonischer Abstimmung konnten wir auch an einem Ruhetag anreisen, es war alles vorbereitet, kein Problem. Es gibt Zimmer in verschiedenen Kategorien. Unser Zimmer, ohne Balkon, war im alpenländischen Stil eingerichtet, einfach, aber doch gemütlich. Das Zimmer machte einen neu renovierten Eindruck. Das Bad machte ebenfalls einen neu renovierten Eindruck, es war alles vorhanden, was man erwartet hat. Die Küche war gut und kreativ, das Frühstück entsprach dem allgemeinen Standard. Das Personal war in jeder Situation freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt an einer Durchgangsstraße etwa 6 Kilometer von Kitzbühel entfernt in Richtung Pass Thurn. Unser Zimmer war auf der straßenabgewandten Seite und so konnten wir keine Lärmbelästigung feststellen. Das Wlan war kostenfrei, allerdings mit schwankender Qualität, dafür mussten wir in der Bewertung einen Abzug machen Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt mit einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Warum das Haus nur der Hotel-Kategorie nur zwei Sternen entsprechen soll verstehen wir nicht, wir hätten die Kategorie mit drei Sternen für angemessen gehalten.
