Cet hôtel restaurant " Le Commerce " , se trouve à l'entrée d'Auriol sur la D 560 ( ex RN96 ) ,en venant de Roquevaire . On y accède par le quai de l'Huveaune qui longe la rivière , au niveau de la Station service . Le cadre extérieur est ombragé avec une grande cour où il est facile de stationner . Le restaurant se trouve dans un pavillon de style campagnard et les chambres sont placées dans un bâtiment mitoyen de 2 étages . L'accueil est sans chaleur , juste les mots basics d'un être humain pas vraiment passionné par son travail . Le cadre dans l'hôtel est quelconque et les chambres sont disposées de part et d'autres d'un couloir . J'ai pris une chambre standard au premier étage à 59 euros TTC ( réservation directe à l'hôtel ), décoration et équipements minimalistes avec un grand lit , confortable , douche et WC . C'est propre . L'hôtel est semble t-il en rénovation lorsque je suis arrivé . Le contexte est calme et les chambres semblent assez bien insonorisées . Il y a le téléphone et une minuscule TV ainsi que le WIFI , et il y a aussi une climatisation .( en cours d'installation ) . A l'époque où je suis arrivé ( début septembre) , le restaurant n'était pas ouvert le soir , donc j'ai du ne rien prendre car les restaurants du village ferment tôt vers 21h Le petit déjeuner à 8 euros , est servi dans la salle de restaurant avec une bonne prestation ( pâtisserie , pain beurre confiture , jus de fruit yahourt , oeuf au plat , thé ou café . Etant semble t-il le seul client , je ne comprends pas l'attitude du réceptionniste , est ce un employé ou le patron ? , si c'est les cas , c'est dommage !!

Le restaurant a fait peau neuve. La carte est courte et se renouvelle. Produits frais et de qualité. Belles associations de saveurs. Vin au verre avec les vins du mois . Accueil agréable. Patron cuisinier sympathique. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.
