The hotel is very nice and great in most categories. Where you are lacking is the workout facility. You have overkill in cardio equipment, but zero progressive resistance equipment. You have a Smith machine which is great. You have a small cable machine which is adequate, but you need a leg press, a leg curl, a thigh extension, a chest press, a shoulder press, a curl machine and a tricep extension. Otherwise we are forced to use a limited dumbell selecition which most people don't use correctly. Additionally your spa services for the steam room are terrible. Every time we try to use the steam, they require us to buy a service and then have no availability for that service. This has happened the last several times we stayed there. They now charge a $50 charge (for a steam room visit?) and it is not allowed on the $25 credit we get with the Gold Accord program (or whatever the program is we bought) We pay the additional $100 a day. We don't like that part about the Fairmont, but again most of the other parts are top of the line. SW
